AMODEX Ink & Stain Remover Traveler 0.5oz Bottle with Built-in Brush

This product is brilliant. It got gel pen ink out of our new chenille curtains. The mark was in a really obvious place but Amodex to the rescue. We followed the instructions and the stain transferred to the piece of cloth we put behind the curtain. Very relieved! Would highly recommend this product.

The product didn’t work. I’m disappointed.

Was starting to lose hope after using everything recommended (including hairspray and high alcohol hand sanitizer), to remove the ballpoint pen ink stain but this product has worked wonders! Needs perseverance and patience, but after approx 4 applications for a few hours at a time, this product has near enough removed the stain off my cream faux leather dining table chair. Will be doing a few more applications to make sure the stain is fully gone. Would highly recommend.

It wasn’t effective on blood stains that I had hoped for but then they had dried.

This ink & stain remover is actually not bad. It didn't remove the stain completely but it removed it enough to be hardly noticeable. It was an old stain and I'd tried other products on it, so I didn't expect any results really. Read the instructions carefully and be persistent.

Picked this up to get a biro stain out of a white jacket — thought it’d be a decent backup to have around just in case. Gave it a proper test: followed the instructions to the letter, dabbed carefully, and let it sit — nothing. The ink barely faded, if at all. I get that not all stains are easy to shift, but this didn’t seem to make any difference. Not what I expected from something marketed specifically as a stain remover. Pretty disappointed overall — maybe it works better on fresh stains, but it didn’t deliver for me.

I was sceptical after many attempts to remove an unknown stain from a blazer... but this product actually did it!

I’m so happy I ordered this product. I’m a Poshmark seller and when packaging an order of a vintage dress that sold I noticed an ink stain. It took 5 rounds of using this gel but the stain from how ever long ago lifted. Absolutely no discolouration in the garment either. This gel was a total life saver!!!

Did not budge my small ink stain

I recently decided to give this product a try and am glad I did. One thing I've found it effective at is cleaning sweat stains from shirt collars. But what really impressed me was the result when I decided to try it on some old (read: years) pen stains. I once put an open pen in my pocket while wearing a pair of work trousers I really like, and it left several ink stains that soaked through to the front. Washing, even after treating the stains with Oxi, didn't do much good. The stains were small enough that I couldn't quite bring myself to toss the trousers, but they didn't get much use after that. Then I treated them with Amodex, figuring it was probably far too late but couldn't hurt to try, and was amazed to see it make a dent in those stains. I really went to work on them at that point (it's not like they just instantly melted away). And in the end the stains washed out. Mostly, at least; they're still visible on the inside of the pocket, but what do I care about that? A pair of trousers that I thought I'd almost ruined is now, years later, entirely presentable again.
