High Quality, Attention to details!
This tent is built with high-quality materials and you can feel it! The fabric is strong yet lightweight, and the zippers are as smooth as silk! I have to admit I enjoyed playing with the zipper too much setting it up.Function-wise, I really like the two bedrooms configuration. I go out camping usually with couple friends and it's great we could have a sheltered entertainment space, as well as our own space when needed. There is also plenty of ventilation everywhere in this tent, from little rooms to the wind tunnel. The setup can use a bit more instruction but overall not hard at all. I set it up myself no problem in less than 30 mins.

Sturdy tent pole in 4 section. Light wood veneer.
I really thought this was a wooden pole.. but it is very sturdy aluminum, with a wood looking veneer. It is 110" overall. The top has a removable spike,, to fit into grommets, or to hold a looped cable. The bottom has a slight point. It comes in four 30" sections that fit together and are secured with one of those nobs that you press down, then it pops up through a hole in the next piece. That steel beam in my garage is 96 inches off the floor, so that gives you and idea of the overall height. This did not come with a storage bag.. I needed this pole to support one corner of a shade sail. The sail has a grommet, but I will need to secure the pole with at least two steel cables. The spike on the top will have no problem accommodating all three. This is a very sturdy pole, since it is aluminum there should be no issue with rust. Overall I am really happy with this, especially that it is extremely tall.

Your almost on your own trying to put this up
$500 for a tent. Does that mean it's good? Maybe not. That's why you all have people to test things.I like to go camping when I can and it's not often. Most of the time when I want to go all of a sudden everybody want to go with. Family. Now when that happens it's important to have enough room for everybody. Unless you like crowded tents.I got this one because it interested in knowing what it like. Atlest the pictures look great.Got it and went to set it up. Wished I knew a different language along with mine because not much English included. So I did the best I could and followed the little English and the little pictures.I first pulled out the items and there were 3 black cloths and 1 big green cloth. Lots of poles.Layer out the green one and we'll I tried to lay it out. Where's the front? Where is the top and bottom? Where is the floor? There is no floor and my thinking is wow this is not going to be water proof.About 30 min into it I finally found how it's to be laid out and kind of laid it out the best I could. Light weight material so was not easy to move because there was so much.Next step was to put these two poles in some creases on the top of the tent. These poles unfolded are like 30 to 50 feet long. Maybe shorter but that what it felt like and I kept hitting my trees moving them around. When they were in I had to somehow secure them to the tent so I found these pins on the tent and fed them on the bottom of the pole. Well it seems to work.Next I needed to take the next 2 longest poles that had 2 angles built in them and also feed them though a slot on the sides of the tent and also put other pins in on the bottom.Ok now there are about 30 tent stakes and wow there is so much rope mounts to the tent so I did them. Then to find out maybe the corners need them too, Well these nothing to say where to put them on the corners so I used the ring that was there.I put the 3rd set of poles together and that is to prop open the door if I want to so I did just to see about it.I am now tripping over all the 20 strings holding the door and the tent down because it's spread out and on top of that they are hard to see. Blends right in.I have 10 stakes left. Where do they go. No instructions on that so I looked at a picture on the place were you ordered the tend and shows these flaps out sode the tent on the bottom. Really? I got them on the inside. Thinking is this for the rain since there is no floor?I folded out the flaps on the bottom and used 1 stake per pair of flaps that meet together and that does work. Then the 2 outer sides of the tent had some bungee ring like as using a stake there too. Well now all 30 are being used.Looking at these 3 black cloths I realize these are for the insides. 2 are like 2 mini tents that attach to the tent just put up so I put them in. Clips and bungee rings to hold them. Did both of them. The 2 mini tents have a floor to them so looks like a tent city under 1 roof that's the best way to describe this. With a dirt floor between them. That is where the 3rd black cloth comes into I guess. It has 3 want to be clips but nothing to say where it goes so it ends up being loose on the floor. Don't like that at all. When done it was about 2 hours later but come on is it really needs to be like that? It's almost like hey this is a luxury text for thoea who don't have anything else to do but I will tell you. If someone was going to take anything from you during the night we'll you will know because the strings will keep tripping them big time.I am now tring to avoiding taking this thing down because I dont have the time to do this. Really don't want to but got to.I have other tents that provide more space that take maybe 30 min to set up with 1 pole and 100% water proof, and that brings up for little later, that I would leave this behind and use the other one instead. To me my opinion is that it's not worth the amount of money for a tent city and frustration of trying to set up. I just don't like this one to go camping with.Good Luck to you and your tent city if you get it.

Nice to Stand & Sleep
Effective Utility Tent, allowing ability to sleep & stand. 10-year old son loved the tent & I was impressed with quality. I placed a moving blanket on floor & a cot for my son and a sleeping mat for me, and there was room for a small table between us. Setup is a bit more involved, but worth the extra time, again son cherished the tipi shape. Recommend. Oh and customer service with S’mores is excellent via email, they replied to a few questions I had.

This review is for a single tent pole. The package contains a single pole.
This tent or tarp pole is 2.8 meters long (just a touch over three yards or nine feet.) Each of the four sections is about 70 cm or 27 5/8”. They join with a single ball detent and the pole is very sturdy when assembled. The bottom has a pointed aluminum base that will stick in the ground and the top has a knurled post that is designed to go through a tarp grommet. There a few ways you can rig a tarp shelter with a single pole, but really, two would be better. The four star is because I think if it were divided into five sections it might be adaptable to more situations, but the quality is pretty good and it should last a long time with a little care.
