I should have read the reviews!
Utterly useless!Cheap looking, flimsily made, hopeless instructions, and most importantly COMPLETELY NON-FUNCTIONAL! If you are looking for an inexpensive landline telephone to test a faulty connection then avoid this like the plague! Not really a telephone at all, just an unattractive piece of plastic in the shape of a telephone. Too light to serve as a paperweight, a doorstop, or a weapon. Too poorly styled to be a design statement or a pice of art. This may be useful as a movie prop or a child’s toy, but absolutely terrible as a communications device unless you throw it at someone to attract their attention, and so cheaply made that it would survive to be used again.

Worth the price, but not for me!
On the plus.... the phone is a good enough handset phone with a loud ringer. The money paid making it a good value buy. However there are a few negatives which make me unhappy with my purchase. Firstly, it has a very fussy channel to thread the line cord (image attached of under the base) so it subsequently makes the phone a little unstable being that it doesn't sit flat on the table (image attached). Secondly the numbers (dial pad) on the handset are in line of my grip of the handset so easy to accidently touch while on a call (possibly disconnect), also the line cord is quite short.

A good back up phone.
A good back up phone in case your dect phone fails to work and will be a good replacement for any outdated phone.

Corded so not affected by power cuts
Basic corded phone, no power needed so not affected by power cuts. Only provided with an old fashioned connection wire which wouldn't fit into the master phone socket without an adaptor.

Cheap. Works.
For the price it is what it is. A basic landline phone. Working so far. I suppose like most people only there because the line comes with the internet package and for the just in case. Not full marks for features because not had any calls in or out so don't know.

WORKED AFTER SOME ATTENTION
I ordered the phone, late evening and received it by noon the next day and so very quick delivery. - a positive point However when I tried to use the phone it was completely dead with no dial tone, so I contacted the seller who right away refunded my money without any hassle - another positive albeit from a negative, but did not want the phone returned to them - I assume the very cheap price makes it not worth their while to go to the expense of having it returned. The telephone is very light and feels very flimsy and cheap, so much so that I wondered if there was in fact any workings at all in the case, so as I had nothing to lose, I opened up the base (the four screws on the underside of the bases are covered with easily removed foam pads) and there was indeed the necessary internals, but what I noticed was that the switch which interacts with the button in the base (the hookswitch) which is released when the handset is lifted from the body was sitting out of position, I clicked it back into it's position and out of interest reconnected the phone to the phone line and SUCCESS, there was now a dial tone!! I had a working phone. I notice a number of reviews mentioning that the received phones were dead on arrival, this might have been the cause?Another criticism of this phone is the VERY short cable for connecting to your phone socket on the wall, the cable has the standard connections on either end that you will find on most phones, so as I was now "on a roll" I had search for a longer phone cable (never throw anything away if you can help it) which I found and replaced the supplied cable and so now the phone can sit where I intended. So to summarise, yes the phone if very cheap and feels like a toy, I do not know if I would want to rely on it as my main telephone, but as a backup or use as a second or third phone in your home office or workshop it might be acceptable, you might have to do the "repair" I mention above to get it to work, hence my ratings above.

Great phone
Didn't need an all singing all dancing phone, just wanted a phone. This was a great price, and meets my requirements.
