Good Mouse!
Short Version: Good Mouse, Solid Build, Fast, Accurate, and A very cool and comfortable look.Long Version :Plugged it in and this baby just took off with flaying colors and it easily switched from battlefeild 3 to skyrim to starcraft 2 with out any hesitation or lag. When you are sniping in a FPS (BF3, MW3) you can set your DPI low to get those very accurate little movements and when you are in a Real Time Strategy like Starcraft 2 you can set it high to accommodate for big maps. The weights are cool and all to show off but honestly to me they do not provide a whole lot of difference. Comes with a cool little case to put in and go to a LAN party or something but just sits around otherwise. The picture might be a little misleading but this is NOT a wireless mouse!!! Overall good mouse and good fast shipping. Highly recommend!

Great mouse when it works, never works for long though.
I am now on my third mouse and it is showing signs of failing soon. Each one I have gotten has started to not track either vertically or horizontally randomly on and off. Its a gaming mouse so it is pretty frustrating when this happens during gaming.I RMA'd the first one I got through Thermaltake and they handled it ok, except my mouse didn't come for a while, instead I got an email saying they were out of black mice so they had to send me a white one (my original was black) or I could wait till they had more black ones. I didn't care so they sent me a white mouse.Mouse number two started doing the same thing as mouse number one, not tracking randomly. So I ended up RMA'ing that one after having it for no more than a month. This time they confused my RMA order with my first RMA and wouldn't send me another mouse pointing out that my RMA return had arrived already (the original RMA). So after a few weeks of emailing back and forth... yes weeks (about 2-3) They figured out their mistake and sent me another one. This is the one that I just unplugged from my computer to toss in the trash because its doing the same thing after only 2 months. I don't want to RMA it because I don't want to ever use this mouse again.Buyer beware. Don't buy this mouse! Aside from not working after a few months, each one i received began squeaking when pressing the left mouse button down (yeah that's the important one you use a lot). It is a very audible squea on each and every button press that i could hear while gaming through my headphones and would surely annoy the crap out of anyone within ear shot. Luckily I figured out a way to stop it by gently prying the left mouse button up to stop it from rubbing against the plastic around the center mouse wheel. The only redeeming quality is that when this mouse worked it worked great and it felt well made though obviously the optics weren't and it felt good in my hand ergonomically. I have decently large hands so that was a plus.

Nice mouse, lasted exactly 1 year..
Quick background : I bought this mouse exactly one year ago to the day, from Amazon, for about $30 ($45 with a $15 rebate, iirc.) It started acting funky about a week ago and the right mouse button gave out yesterday. I did not use the mouse for 6 months out of the year (away from home for work) so its safe to assume you can get about 6 months of daily use out of it. It was used for gaming (primarily MOBAs and FPS, lots of fast and sometimes frantic clicking) so if you used it more gently you could probably get more life out of it.THAT BEING SAID..Pros :* Weight - This could be either a pro or a con, but the mouse is VERY light. Even with all the weights in, its still lighter than any gaming mouse I've ever owned or used.* Lighting - This one is also fairly subjective, but it has a pretty cool design with red lighting which makes it look pretty awesome.* Cord - The cord is both sufficiently long (6ft) and high quality. It's probably the best cord on any peripheral device I've ever owned, actually. I no longer have cats, but the nylon wrapping around it seems like something I'd love to chew on if I were a cat. Just a heads up.* DPI - Adjustable DPI doesn't seem like that big of a deal, but if you have a game where it somehow adjusts your sensitivity every time you launch, it saves you 2-3 minutes each time. CLUTCH.* Middle mouse button - Might be getting borderline-OCD here, but I expect any gaming mouse above $20 to have a middle mouse button that doesn't feel like it was previously employed as a wheel on a Hot Wheels car. Thermaltake delivers in this department. High five, Thermaltake.Cons :* Firmware - If you lift the mouse up even a centimeter, then put it back down, the cursor will be unresponsive for a few seconds. I'm a very laid back person, but this will make you RAGE if it happens while you're gaming. Supposedly this is the firmware, and supposedly the problem doesn't affect all mice. I didn't find this out until it started breaking, so as long as you take care of this early I don't see why it should be a problem.* Materials - The mouse feels like cheap plastic covered with a rubbery coating. Mainly because that's what it is. The rubbery coating will start to flake off eventually.* Thumb button - Its huge. It feels like it should be two buttons. But its one. Keep this in mind if you're coming from a mouse with two thumb buttons, as I was.* Build quality - As I said earlier, mine is as good as dead. The right mouse button stopped working after a year of ownership, and about 6 months of almost-daily use. Since this falls under "damages unrelated to manufacturing defects," (or as we humans call it, wear and tear) I can't RMA it and get a new one.VERDICT/tl;dr :If you want an inexpensive, good-looking, decent quality gaming mouse that you won't be using a great deal, this is a good pick for you. If you game a lot, playing high-APM games like Starcraft or DOTA/HoN/LoL, and you want a mouse that will last you, spend a little more on something with a higher build quality. (My MX518/G400 lasted me 5 years, there's a good starting point.) 3/5 stars. -1 because it died after a year, and -1 because of the firmware problem + build quality.

An ok mouse, but not worth it
So i bought this mouse thinking it was smaller than it is. It is 4 1/2 inches long, 3 inches wide, and 1 3/4 tall. It is a very comfortable PALM mouse, but not good if you prefer the finger tip grip, and not usable for the claw. The weights are nice, and it is aesthetically pleasing, but thats where it ends. It's not very accurate, and often times it will not land where you put it, but will move a little bit, making FPS's not doable. The software that it comes with is buggy and needs some fussing to get to work. Once its open its not as nice as say the Logitech software. You can't set a button to lower the DPI while holding that button (like a sniper button), you can only assign the buttons to either raise or lower the dpi.Bottom line: It looks cool, and comes with a nifty carrying case and stickers, but does not function well.
