Is it polyester or nylon?

I think its polyester but either will cause the same static problem with hair sticking to it and problem removing it even when washed. I would buy another.

Does this soak clothes at back when washing hair at a salon?

Hi it’s not waterproof, I guess their clothes would only get wet if you dribble water down their back. I think they are great for price, they wash and dry very easily x

Does this cover full back ?

No, if you were sitting and having your hair done by someone else it would be ok but if you are standing and cutting/colouring your own hair when you lift up your arms (there are no separate arm holes) it opens up the back of the gown which is a lot shorter than the front. Material of gown is ok though.

Can I use this when I cut my own hair?

Yes you can bring your arms out of the cape for cutting the front then swivel the cape around for any cutting at the back.
