Spicentice Carolina Reaper Chilli Pot - World's Hottest Chilli - 100% Natural

This is not an economical way to buy this chili you get about six for your money so if you want a lot of it buy a bigger packet that would make more sense but I just wanted to try the Real Thing rather than a ready-made paste or liquid. I do have the ready-made liquid but how can I guarantee it's got just Carolina Reaper in it, it is very very hot but it didn't seem to have a great deal of other flavour or aroma which is what I was expecting, it's made by tropical sun and it's quite cheap and very little will go a long long way because it is hot hot hot hot. Anyway unlike the tropical sun version when I took the lid off these dried chillies the aroma hit me straight away it's really really strong and that aroma will also be part of the flavour that you initially get before the heat gets you, it's difficult to describe but towards fruity not just hot but seconds later the heat will get you. All I had was a tiny piece about an eighth of an inch across and my mouth was on fire 10 minutes later having drunk a litre of lemonade. You have been warned I think you would probably have a heart attack or a seizure or go into shock if you tried eating a whole pod just don't even contemplate doing it. So although you only get about six pods a tiny bit of a pod will probably flavour a portion of curry and it won't just make it hot it will give it aroma and a completely different flavour which is what I was after, wonderful. I've also reviewed the Naga chili which is not as hot and it's not meant to be but it's also got a wonderful flavour and aroma.

Hot, addictive and delicious

Did I get a dud? Popped a whole reaper in my vindaloo paste and it had very little kick outside a Scotch bonnet pepper. Looking at the reviews my opinion is the minority, which makes me believe I was unlucky. Although perhaps fortunate it was not as spicy as the others state!!
