.Safe enough kit, good idea to be edible.
List of items needed. agar agar, sugar, full fat milk, dark chocolate, double cream, vanilla essence, golden syrup, bicarbonate of soda, MandM sweets, gummy bear sweets, brown and white fondant icing, food colour, marshmallows, vegetable oil, 2 different colour biscuits, butter, red cabbage ( for red juice), eggs, lemon juice. I had to open the box so I had all the ingredients before giving as present but as it was all edible, it was better for my Grandson, so I didn't mind buying all the ingredients. Pretty good kit I thought.

Doesn't really come with anything
To be honest this doesn't really come with anything other than a few plastic pieces that would have cost pennies to make. You need to buy all of the food items, not sure what justifies the price, just Google the recipes and save your money.

Great fun activity set
I bought this for my 9 year old daughter. It was a huge success! Not only were the instructions easy to follow, the kit contained everything needed and the finished products weren’t half bad. The slime lava lamp and mystic ball were particular favourites.Thoroughly recommend.

Okay
All arrived intact, packaging was good. Not sure if it’s totally safe for children, the children I had got it for was over 10+. Strange smell from the plastics and very messy procedure. Would be a experiment definitely but might not recommend consumption of the treats

Excellent product
I ordered this for 8 yo. This looks like it will sit pretty him on our stem toy pile. Small issue with packaging but the seller dealt with it super quick and coukd not have been nicer.

Prepare to spend a lot more than the kit
Boxing Day and 5yo wants to use her new Edible Science kit ! I open the box and find out we don’t have 90% of what we need ! I didn’t realise when buying that the kit is solely the instruments needed and the instructions ! I now have to go out and spend a small fortune so we can do any of the experiments.. I wouldn’t have bought if I had realised

Not worth the money
Product was not worth the money, you spend twice as much on the ingredients you need to make the items. The recipes we chose and went to purchase didn’t even need the tools in the box. It’s now gathering dust.

To much stuff to buy extra makes it expensive
This is a great idea but you need a lot of things to do the experiments.if the child opens it as a present and you haven't brought all the added ingredients they can not do any of the experiments. Read the booklet carefully it can work out expensive
