Q: Does it support the 9th generation?

9th generation are coffeelake update cpus. When I bought my mobo the 9th gen hadn't been released, so I would have to update the bios to get it to work. What I don't know is if the latest boards already have the update. You'll have to check with Asrock.

Q: have people overclocked an i7 8700k on it and if so what speeds did you get to?

It depends of the cpu and cooler, so this question is irrelevant.

The Z370 Pro4 doesn't have built in WiFi, so you would have to either buy an external module (USB wifi dongle) or an internal one (PCI Express wifi card).

Mac OS won’t install on non Apple hardware. Your OS selection is Windows or Linux platforms.
