Good quality batteries at reasonable prices, Varta batteries always seem to be powerful and long lasting, they work well in cold conditions and have a long use by date.

German quality, though made elsewhere they made to high standards and I can count on them. I've known and used the brand for easily over two decades, such as these batteries, car batteries and watch/coin batteries, never let me down. These were needed for my smoke alarms, requiring alkaline chemistry for consistent voltage and long durations. If they could use rechargeable I woudl but for me these are the best of these type.

EXCELLENT IN EVERY RESPECT

I ordered these as our smoke alarm stopped working. They were due to be delivered next day, ideal, but arrived three days late. In the end I had to go out and purchase a battery. I can only say the VARTA pack of two batteries are really good value and a very good make. I will keep them as spares for when the smoke alarms need a new battery.

Great value 9v battery double pack for use in smoke alarms, I have been using Varta batteries for a while now and I find that they last so much better than the GP batteries.
