Gentle enough to use on my dog and cleans better than using only my hands to massage the shampoo in her thick fur. Heavy duty and durable.

Works great for brushing out my short-haired dog and loosening potential shedding. He leans into it like it's a little massage. Doesn't work nearly as well for my long-haired dog, even though she also sheds a lot. Need to stick with the wire brush for her.

It was really good! Did the job better when they were getting a bath. But still works on dry fur. Used it on my basset hound and my short hair cat!

I have a Mastiff/Staffy mix and a pug. My Mastiff gets a light undercoat that is pretty tricky to get out. She gets these little tufts of hair that don't shed and a normal slicker doesn't work to get them out. When she gets these little tufts on her arms or legs it's even trickier. This rubber brush is soft enough that it can be used on her sensitive paws without hurting or irritating her. She lays down and her eyes roll into head while I brush her with this. She loves it so much. It's like a massage for her and it helps get out the itchy undergrowth. Her shorter hair just comes right out of the brush without too much coaxing so clean up is pretty easy. The pug is still a puppy so she's just enjoying the massage aspect but later I see this being really useful with her shedding. I would recommend this to anyone that has short hair dogs that have stubborn undercoat or to brush a couple times a week to keep shedding under control. I'm not sure how this would work on long hair because I generally only have short hair dogs. Some might think they don't shed but they do, a lot. This helps a ton with that.

Just received this and I was so excited, it looks wonderful, on the heavier side, and no doubt will be useful, however one of the nubs is broken off at the tip so I am a bit disappointed and surely hope they don’t easily break.

Hands down the best brush I have ever used on my dog. He has short hair that sticks on everything when he sheds. The brush got so much fur off of him, I was shocked. My dog didn’t mind me spending time brushing him with it because the rubber bristles probably felt more like a massage
