I found this is one of the easiest letterbox security devices to install; all you need to do is, put the blanking plate (one with no holes ) to the exterior of your door, add the foam gasket into the letterbox, then find the correct length screw; add the blanking plate (with holes) then screw together; essentially sandwiching the door with blanking plates.Once on the plates very secure and can only be removed from the inside, no letters, junk mail, or malicious artifacts can enter the house. A bit sad that nowadays people have to resort to these measures to secure property, and feel safe in their own house.The blanking plate is white; in colour, secured with steel screws. During lockdown, our local Lodge needed to be secure due to the length of time we expect the building to be closed. As the building is in a prime location in the centre of the village, it has been targeted in the past for large mailshots cigarrete buts and various other types nefarious mail.So I ordered this to keep our beloved lodge secure. Installing the device couldn't be easier, as the door sits between the 2 blocking panels where steel screws are then fitted through the letterbox to secure the device in place.If you have an unoccupied property that you are concerned about then give this a try for genuine peace mind.

This is an excellent product for anyone wishing to stop unwanted mail etc whilst on holiday or for landlords with empty properties to prevent a build up of junk mail or arson attacks. Installation is very easy and didn’t take long at all, it looks smart when installed and not too obvious. Everything you need is right inside the box & so it’s good value for money for such security & peace of mind. I will now be using mine whenever we are away as you know your home is safe.Great product, excellent value for money & reusable so ideal if you have multiple properties.

I am very pleased with this product . It was exactly what we had ordered and was delivered in a timely manner. Lovely finish, solid design and construction.Worked just as described. It was easy to install with minimal tools. I love the way it looks and helps keep out a draft.

Very good. I'm unable to post anything else recommending this product as it gets turned down by you know who.I usually give detailed reviews but can't on this occasion sorry. I've put photos on to prove I received the item and I can tell you it worked.
