Q: Can this be used to replace a old 4-Cell Mag-Lite instead of the standard bulb?

Spec says all 2D and 2C maglites They have more suitable led conversions I have upgraded a 2D . 3D .and 6D maglites Good performance quite a difference from krypton bulbs easy swap Pleased with these

Both batteries are chunky, but the 2c is smaller than the 2d. However, but I am as sure as I can be that the same bulb fits both models. In my case I bought a Cree upgrade and it fitted and worked perfectly. I believe the 2C and 2D means two batteries and that the bulbs for 3c and 3d (3 batteries) are a different size. I used to think my Maglite was bright until I put in the LED upgrade - best thing I did. Hope this helps.

The TTS Maglite XP-G2 bulb is an UPGRADE from an old style filament bulb. If your Maglite ALREADY has a LED bulb I'm not sure the TTS will be any good as the fitting may be different. Might be worth looking closely at pictures to see how the different bulbs fit in. Maglite advertises Xenon bulbs now but I'm not sure they are same as/ as good as the LED conversion. Sorry not to be more precise.
