Dubious about the security
It fits really well, it's light, the coating or surface treatment, whatever it is, feels very well applied and the build of the assembly at the top feels very good. It holds a seat securely as well, something my old seat post never really got the hang of.Only quibble is that I'm looking at buying a brooks saddle, and the fact that the two bolts holding the seat on are exposed and could be easily turned with vice grips doesn't really set my mind at ease. You can glue ball bearings in, but there isn't really any way to stop them gripping the outside.But for more sensible saddles, I can't see this going wrong, unless you need a very short, light seat post because this is neither of those things really.

Easy to set up.
Fitted this to my old steel cross bike. Saddle clamp was quick and easy to adjust. Works as expected.

As advertised
Great to be able to get a less popular post diameter in this length. So far no problems, seat has not come loose or anything like that. (as happened with other seat posts I have bought for my children's bikes)
