Buy and grow for kids, and adults.
These are fascinating plants to show kids, and make better, fascinating, home grown proposition than Venus' Flytrap plants. Kids tend to like to trigger the leaf traps on Venus' Flytraps, to watch them close, but alas, each trap can only operate around 3 times before it dies, so they don't make for an easy educational houseplant. The need for rain or distilled watering as well as specialised growing media also make them more tricky. Mimosa Pudica plants are easy to germinate, and some folk treat them as annuals, because they tend to get a bit 'leggy'. An easy plant to grow, but keep them out of draft and wind, as they keep 'dropping and folding'. Definitely a good purchase, and great fun!

Amazing!
The media could not be loaded. Grows like a weed. When I lived in Singapore it WAS a weed!

Authentic! Huge amount of seeds, germinating well
The media could not be loaded. I am always very uncomfortable buying seeds due to 90% of seeds online are indeed fake, just look at rainbow roses seeds for example they don't exist yet can be found on Amazon, ebay... and everywhere....But this is the real deal!!!Not only is it the real deal, they sent LOADS of seeds!I am quite bad with plants but they've germinated, looking healthy and growing nicely. At first they look a bit different but they soon start to look like the leaves you expect. As you can see in my video they are true to what you are buying. There were SOOOO many seeds, think the photo was after I removed part of it already.I soaked them first for just over 24h as reccomended online then popped them in the pot and within a couple of dayd they started to germinate.

Misleading.
Definitely not 2g or anywhere near 400 seeds here. No idea if they'll take or grow to what they're suppose to be but yeah pretty crappy false advertising at least from a size point of view.

300 seeds 90%Germination rate. Fast delivery
The media could not be loaded. The video I have uploaded was taken just 2 weeks after planting, I have many others planted around the same time but none seem to be doing as well; the only difference between them is light level so I suggest you keep this somewhere that receives full sun if you want good growth. I have found no difference in germination rates wether I soaked, used paper towel, or just planted directly into soil so do what you like. I used a bottle to create humidity for the first week but the plant will outgrow the bottle one day and everytime I removed the bottle the leaves would close up, so I no longer have a bottle on my plant as it doesnt show any improvement compared to mine without bottles however I would wait until the true leaves have emerged before you take the bottle off as the humidity is needed when it is a very small plant. I think it was described to have 400 or 200 seeds, the packet I received had around 300, 300 is still more than enough but for anyone that happens to want more, it's worth buying 2 packets. Delivery was good, arrived a day early. I have many seedlings in many different soil types but the best I've found is 20% soil from your garden 30% sand 50% compost. Any water is fine to give the plant as long as it's not toxic. I fertilise mine every 2 weeks and if I haven't updated this review, that means that everything I'm doing is good and my plant is okay.

Too long waiting
Can't comment on what the plant looks like as the seedstook so long to arrive there is no sign of germination as yet.

Only in foil packet
I ordered these seeds as a last minute birthday present. Seeds arrived in padded env, on earliest date of delivery window, I was delighted. Then I opened envelope. It should've been in description that these seeds do not come in a 'normal' seed packet, with picture on front and sowing instructions. They have come in a foil, sealed packet with no instructions. Ideal if it was for me, but these are for a teenager!! What can I do, except spend the evening on internet, trying to find suitable pic & instructions for her!!

So cute!
These are the cutest darn things. Fascinating defence mechanism by folding leaves and drooping. Wanted some for ages so these seeds are very good value, you get hundreds. Note before buying as there are no instructions with seeds. House plant if growing in UK. This plant needs to be hot, +18C so literature says. It likes sun and moisture. So, bathroom/kitchen/conservatory plant in full window sun would be recommended. Lots of sites say soak seeds 24 hrs, or grow in wet tissue. Faf. They're very delicate. Germinate seeds in propagator with very moist/wet seedling compost on window ledge full sun. I planted 16 seeds, 50% germinated to cotyledons in 3 days, true leaves within 7 so germinating in compost fine. Will they die quick once summer has past, maybe, but I'll do my best to keep them alive haha. Don't touch them too much (as tempting as it is, becomes detrimental to the plant if not at peak growing conditions). Fun plant, genuine seeds as more have said before this review. These plants are like Haribo, kids and adults will love it so. Good advice on maintenance on Gardeners World website so take a look. Once my plants get taller I'm going to pinch them out to stop getting 'gangly', they'll get misted regularly and I'd like to find some kind of tall terrarium to keep (at least one in) to see if can keep alive over winter. My house can get cold when I'm away. Have fun with these plants ;)
