The other platforms are quite good, but not adequate and stable enough for high tolerance instrumentation. While this platform is not perfect it works much better than others. I have tested. As a kit for a stem project it is fantastic for anybody and any kit of this nature will work great.. ****01/06/24 - this platform is turned out to be very stable. In addition to all the original equipment, that’s pictured. We added high depth, sonar, and camera systems to the unit. And we are attempting to install a 6DOF arm and program it as well. The main issue that I have run into with the small robots is that they become very top-heavy very easily. Watch for center of gravity on your project. Ours has fallen backwards on the monitor twice.
