Well made classic looking hat! Beautifully constructed. Fit perfectly with the medium/Large size. This hat will last forever. Chose a cotton version rather than wool so my boyfriend can wear it year round. It was shipped quickly and arrived quickly and in good condition.

Trying out some flat caps, and this one is amazing! Given Boston Scally co. return policy, Amazon might be the best place to purchase them. Fits great and looks good.

these are quite nice, if you like this style of hat you should think about picking one up, this my 3rd Boston scally co hat and these things are very well made and overall a good value for the money, the fit is pretty good overall and the size chart seems pretty accurate, this one is a little looser than the others ones i got in the past but still fits well, more of a comfy fit instead of a tight fit. these are just very nice hats overall. its a sturdy hat with a nice shape, kind of in-between a baseball cap and a news boy hat shape. very very nice hats.

It was what I expected and more. The material used is excellent and the way it fit is amazing. I’m never going back to a regular baseball cap.

I’ve wanted to try Boston Scally caps for a while but my head is right between sizes. When I saw them on Amazon I ordered both an XL and XXL to see which would work better. The XL was too small and wouldn’t stretch enough after breaking in so I kept the XXL. I’m glad I did. It’s comfortable and unlike most hats I try it isn’t too tight. I like fitted caps and since I’m at the low end of XXL I may add a strip of hat foam under the sweatband so it won’t slide around on a freshly shaven head. I’m bald and some fabrics irritate my scalp but I’ve had zero issues with this one. I do wish there was a little more attention to finishing detail. The sweatband under the tag isn’t finished and is just cut off. That’s minor though since I’m happy with the rest of the hat. This review is for the six panel version but I had the same experience with the eight panel too.
