MOTHERS MO-17240 Speed Clay 2.0

Results using Speed Clay were as good as the traditional clay bar but the prep was far easier with the egonomic pad. Not too sure on the longevity but after one whole car application the pad looked as good as new and when I dropped it a quick rinse got me going again.

1st time using detailing clay of any description and found this to be quick and had excellent results. I used my wash shampoo as a lubricator and it removed heavy embedded grime as I'm not sure my car was treated to the same attention by the previous owner given the roughness of the paint before I started

Works brilliantly, really noticeably smoother paintwork after usage wasnt expecting miracles but paintwork felt like it does after using traditional clay. Only downside is it struggles removing contaminates like rubber specks and tar.

Mother's products are very good. Speed clay 2.0 is one of them. It needs maybe more lubricant than usuall, but it does great job. Just use more lubricant if its soap water, or a chemical like a qick detailer etc.

I normally use a clay mitt from Meguiars, but I bought this on a win as I had a £20 gift card to use. I used it the day after and took me about 1-2 hours to do the whole car whereas normally I give up halfway through with a clay mitt. You can see and feel the contaminants coming off the paintwork and the result at the end is a smooth and glossy car. My 1 series since I've had it has never held it's glossiness but a week after using this clay bar, the whole car still looks gleaming especially the front.

Easier to use than the standard clay bar and does a great job, will be buying this again and again
