I am very pleased with this junction box. It is made of thick plastic, feels sturdy, and appears to be good quality. The snaps seem solid and line up well. The glands appear sturdy and effective. The inside grid to mount stuff is well-thought. I mounted a 12 volt fuse box on the inside and it fit perfectly. No complaints at all! I would definitely buy again.

Excellent in most ways. Good sturdy box nice cover, SS latches. Water RESISTANT but NOT water proof. Thermal changes will draw in moisture even with secure glands on round cables. Would buy again, and have. Photo shows condensation frozen. I doubt the perimeter seal leaked. Using for irrigation controller on outside wall and exposed to chronic winter rain in Seattle.

Thick plastic, well constructed, seals out water as it should, comes with all hardware needed. Very sturdy and I expect it to last many years even out in the brutal Arizona sun.I will definitely use this again if the need arises.

I would be considered using it a lot in the cold plastic seems thin but sterdy. I'm not opening and closing it a lot so it seems fine.Keeps water out box works.

My project involved converting 12v AC landscaping light power to 1.5v DC for an LED ornamental feature which was previously solar powered. I needed a weatherproof box to house the small AC to DC rectifier and an adjustable transformer to get me to the 1.5v DC I needed. This TICONN box was just what I needed. It is sturdy and offers nice features like a removable component mounting board, stainless steel hardware, clear or solid color swing door, sturdy latches and many choices on sizes. I would buy this again.

The construction is solid, seal is good, and the mounting hardware offers options. I got mine for a Raspberry Pi weather station housing. So far, so good.
