Plug your Wii into an HDMI connection
We switched the tv where we played Wii games, and it didn't have the traditional component video connections. Just HDMI. This works very well. Also like the fact that it came with a 5 foot hdmi cable, the extra length was useful based on where we have things placed.

Plug and Play
Looked at many of these adapters. Many of them required a power source. I wanted to avoid this if possible. Chose this lower priced item that didn’t require power thinking if it doesn’t work I will go to plan B. Got the item earlier than estimated and took a minute to install. Works great. Very satisfied.

Sensitive but functional
It works perfectly when I get it in just the right position and don't touch the Wii! However, sometimes when it's jostled it makes the picture black and white for some reason. I'm satisfied though since I don't do anything that moves my Wii around.
