I'm new to freeze drying and got this book to give me exact instructions and ideas for recipes. I am thrilled with all of the ideas! This book is detailed and tells you how to create everything from SCRATCH, even ice cream!! This is a legit cookbook, made for freeze drying. It also tells you how to rehydrate, which is a huge bonus. Of course, it doesn't come with every single recipe or idea that is possible with a freeze dryer but it covers so many basics and then some you wouldn't even think about to freeze dry. Very happy with this, great starter book for a beginner like me!

We are new owners of a freeze dryer, and so much information is found in this book! We're still at the "honeymoon" stage of using it, so any and all additional information to keep at hand can definitely save A LOT of aggravation and frustration!! I am hooked on freeze drying, and can't stop using this book to continue to learn the right way of processing foods. If you're even considering purchasing a freeze dryer, I seriously suggest you buy this book.

This cookbook is Amazing!!! I can NOT wait to try almost every single recipe in it! It even has stuff for your kids & pets! Simple,Easy to follow directions with yummy foods to prepare. My partner even sat down and read some of the recipes & he dont read anything let alone follow recipes LOL

I've always wanted to try freeze drying, and now I can! A lot of food gets wasted in my house because we can't get through it quickly enough, so this guide is sure to save me a lot of money. It'll also come in handy for road trips and camping come summertime. I especially love how these recipes don't sacrifice taste and aren't expensive to make.

Easy to follow freeze drying cook book and there is a great range of recipes including desserts, baby food, and pet food!! I love that every recipe has photos included and the photo quality is amazing. Great idea for camping or hiking trips and the recipes can be eaten fresh too of course.

The pages of this as an e-book do not display well on my device because of page size and the text is fine and difficult to read. It appears well written until one looks at the photos versus the recipe. The photos do not match the recipes as written, which makes the nutrition facts questionable. The Fruit and Yogurt Bark recipe looks beautiful but the recipe has only raspberries and blueberries while the photo shows kiwi, strawberries, and peaches. The SouthWest Scramble shows added mushrooms. The Pesto Chicken Salad photo shows added corn, red onion, and avocados not listed in the recipe. The Loaded Oatmeal looked nothing like the recipe ingredients. I browsed through page 80 and gave up. I don’t believe the recipes were tested. If they were, then those photos should have been used.
