Here is a decent product, but only works for about two months. Weird. Takes about 5 days to start working. Then it works great, no shedding at all! But only works for about 50-60 days. I have bought this twice, start feeding my dog the vitamins in May/June, last till about August, then the shedding starts all over again. But at least we get some shedding relief. UPDATE 6/2025. The pills don’t work at all this year. Sure, it made his coat softer, but still shedding like crazy. I would look for another product for shed relief

A year ago my Pyrador had about 200 scabs on her. We put her on a wheat free diet. I make 1/2 her food and she gets a sweet potato & beef kibble. She still continued to get scab, just not as bad. I put her on “Vets Best Shed itchy “ about a month ago. She is now scab free.

These were ineffective for my dog. They did not relieve his itching or shedding at all. However, for the price it is worth a try with your dog. I did not notice an off-putting smell. They are fingertip sized tablets. While I can pill my dog easily, it would also be easy to crush this up into or over some food. I did not try to just give it to my dog plain even now they're supposed to be flavored well.
