So so happy
Came EARLY, good quolity. Big. Yes its not as sturdy as wood but just put compost in the sections. Its made out of matirial. Great value!!!! The only thing i wud add is choose wisely which plants u put inwhere as the comparments are connected and some plants dont like growing next to eachother. The sections arent separated.

Good value and size
I put some twigs and small pieces of wood in base and covered with a piece of cardboard. This gave some stability to the sections before adding the compost and meant that less was needed. Also thinking it will help with drainage? Have set up a pea and bean support in the ground beyond the long side which should work too but we will see!

Average at best
I was looking for a cheaper alternative to building a large wooden bed. We have been using Grow bags for a lot of our vegetables and I thought I would give this a try for our cabbages. I was disappointed that the delivery took such a long time and I was expecting the product to be a little bit more sturdy. Unfortunately, the material is quite thin and I feel that it could be ripped easily, however this didn’t happen to me luckily. Each compartment is separated from the other however only at the sides and not the bottom so filling it can be a little tricky. I found that the product does bulge quite a lot and doesn’t look very neat once filled, unlike the picture. A good point, however, is that it is a good size but be aware that it will take a lot of compost to fill. One biggest issue I found is that it is very tricky to incorporate bug protection into the bed because there is no lateral stability and a lot of the things I used kept falling over. It’s also difficult to create a seal around the bottom and most of the cabbages I grew really suffered from caterpillar attack. If you’re going to buy this, I would recommend creating a wooden box for it to sit in or at least a frame for the top so you can have a little bit more support for netting etc. I don’t think I would recommend this to a friend and would advise sticking with the woven plastic alternatives if you can’t afford a bed , or if you can invest in a slightly more permanent solution, look into creating a wooden bed. We have used quite a few old pallets to create our current beds and they are great.

Flimsy, but hopefully will last
Large, which is useful. I bought 5x50 litre bags of compost, so 250 litres. They filled less than 4 compartments, so I need at least another 200 litres. Some veg won't need to be so deep. But if you don't fill the compartments, the sides will fold in. What I don't really like, is the fact that the compartments aren't separate, they are open at the bottom edges, so some things may spread into the next one. Time will tell how robust it is.
