Perfect for kids!
This Terrarium is very small but it is so cute and grows so fast. The dinosaur theme makes it the perfect gift for those dino-loving kids and they will love watching it grow. Especially since it grows so fast! Easy for them to set up themselves, purchased for a 5 year old and she loves it.

Creative, fun activity with the nephew!
Finally, a perfect birthday present for the nephew that we can have fun doing together without any screens involved! My nephew turned 5 and I always try to find something educational, no screens involved, and hands on that he would have fun with. He came over to my house and we built his terrarium together. It is so stinking cute and even has dinosaur figurines to add into the terrarium, which he extra appreciates as a fellow Dino lover! With the energy of a 5 year old, we were able to put this together in about an hour considering the time to let the dirt expand in the water. I can’t wait to hear about how his plants grow in his terrarium as the days go by. The seeds are chia and another easy to grow grass similar plant so guaranteed to see the plants grow. Imagine a chia pet concept level of ease! This comes with a light and everything you need, even a little mist bottle to water the plants. Just have to plug it in! He loves to get his hands in the dirt and I love teaching him about plants and hope to inspire him to be a future plant parent when he is older to match his auntie’s vibes. :)

Great activity to complete with children
This is such a great value for the money. My son loved putting it together and the grass is growing so well. The instructions were easy to follow which was beneficial putting it together.

Quick growing, short tank
My seven year old this. The grass grew very quickly and we need to cut it to view the scene. It’s a little short, and so the cheaper one that is taller might be worth considering. It came with good instructions and an educational booklet. My kid is very interested and wants to add additional figures and experiment with other plants. The light makes it a good twist on a nightlight.

Fun activity for kids
5 year old nephew and his older sister loved this thing. Got some extra dinos to go in it but it really does grow and looks great.

Great for my 3 and 4 year old!
My 3 year old and 4 year old love it! Its their new night light. It took about 4 days for the grass to grow, which was so exciting for them! We added our own decrotive rocks. If you do this with littles, I suggest soaking the puck of dirt first, which takes about 15 minutes, so it's ready when you start with the kids, it was a test of patience for my 4 year old. Only time will tell how long it lives, but so far, it was worth the price!

Awesome gift!
Such a great gift for a curious Dino lover. Also great to watch them grass grow and become its own ecosystem. Only wish the kid were more secure. Had to tape it down to avoid spills

Granddaughter was so excited to get this. Because it came out of country took much longer to receive, so plan ahead if it’s a gift. Pricey because of where it shipped from. But worth it, National Geographic makes good interactive products.

I bought the for my 4 yr old grandson. He and his little brother were absolutely enthralled with putting it together, watering it every day, and watching it grow. My daughter-in-law gives this a huge 5-star

It’s a bit smaller than I had hoped but that’s on me for not properly checking the measurements in the description. Grandson likes it and that’s all that counts. Unit has a nice bright light and comes with some gravel, soil tablet, seeds and a small Dino and tree. After setting it up and planting the seeds it was amazing to see how fast they grew and I’m sure every seed sprouted. Fun item and it’s got me interested in doing a terrarium in my man cave
