Very good - power and PC-VR use
Fits the Quest 3S perfectly and the supplemental USB-C connector keeps the headset at 100% while in use when used in conjunction with the stock USB-C wall adapter. Very good quality lead. I personally like braided cables so I'm happy with that. The cable is relatively stiff / firm. It is flexible but not like a soft silicon cable. The Connectors are all good quality and they have been terminated well. Overall an excellent cable at a very competitive price. I did a fair amount of research before I bought it and it works perfectly. High data rate when I plug it into my PC. My motherboard has 3.1 ports for Standard USB size connections and a 2-off USB C as well and there's absolutely no bottleneck from this cable. Great for PC-VR which is probably why you are buying this and what you actually want to know. The supplementary USB-C power on the side of the cable makes it possible to use your headset at 100% all the time. It's cheap and definitely one of the good ones. Recommended.

Perfect for Quest 3
This is a great cable that offers plenty of length, making it ideal for VR setups where movement and flexibility are key. When used with my Quest 3, it not only provides a stable connection for playing PC VR titles through Link but also keeps the headset fully charged throughout long play sessions. This makes it a perfect solution for those who don’t want to worry about battery drain mid-game. The build quality is impressive, with a durable yet flexible design that doesn’t feel stiff or restrictive. Despite the length, the cable remains lightweight enough to avoid feeling cumbersome, allowing for a more immersive experience without constant readjustment. The connection is stable and reliable, ensuring smooth performance without latency issues or sudden disconnections. One of the standout features is how well it integrates with the head strap. The cable routes neatly along the strap without adding noticeable weight or pulling on the headset. It stays out of the way during gameplay, reducing the chance of accidental tugs or discomfort. Whether you’re using a stock strap or a third-party one, it doesn’t interfere with the fit or balance of the headset. For the price, it offers excellent value. Many cheaper alternatives struggle to deliver both a consistent power supply and a reliable data connection, leading to slower charging or intermittent dropouts. This cable, however, does both exceptionally well, making it a fantastic investment for anyone looking to enhance their PC VR gaming with the Quest 3. If you want a hassle-free experience with plenty of freedom to move, this is an easy recommendation.

Great link cable!
Has worked really well for the 8months or so that I've had it. Charges the headset smartly so it sits in a place to keep the battery healthy, good transfer rate. Only issue is an occasional 'liquid or debris in port' that pops up in headset, but it's a case of accepting the warning and continue to play.

Quest Link not working (resolved by support)
After my initial problem (review below) I was contacted by Alice in support and was sent a replacement cable. The new cable did not have the freezing problem of the first cable and has been working fine for tethered PCVR with my Quest 3. After playing for some time I quit out and found that the Quest still had 100% battery charge which is the main selling point of this cable. Very happy with the cable as well made and retains Quest charge for longer gaming sessions! Great support too. Original review: Looks well made and love the idea that it can charge and provide Quest link for sim racing at same time. However, when activating Quest link I get a weird jagged border around the screen (when looking through headset) and then the link freezes. Have tried re-plugging it in (both ends), resetting the software, and restarting PC but same results every time. I switched back to my old USB lead and all works fine. Have a decent PC with a 4070 super GPU and Quest 3. Will have to return it.

Incredible Customer Service
Since leaving my original review, the manufacturer reached out to me to try to resolve my issue. They were adamant that they stood by their warranty. I was provided with a replacement and asked to test that it worked as expected as the engineers had found an issue that was resolved in later models. Freya, from their customer service team, contacted me frequently to ensure that I was happy with the replacement and that it worked as expected. Not once did I have to chase for an update. They were the most proactive customer service team that I had ever experienced. So... The new hardware... It works as a charging cable now, which was the only gripe that I had before. When connected to the headset and playing it appears to hold a charge. I did not notice it lose charge while connected so also a win. Overall, if you are looking for a decent length cable to extend your VR play time, I can recommend this. In order to be fully transparent and to highlight how good their customer service was, I am leaving my original review below. ---Original Review - Please read above for revised review--- As a connection to my PC, this cable works great but not so much as a charging cable. No matter which order I connect the power cable, the headset still discharges at normal or very slightly under normal speed. This results in a low battery warning. This is the same on my quest 1 and 3 with and without battery pack. I have even left it connected overnight and it has not fully charged the battery pack. Mine maybe faulty. Not sure but others have reported similar and many have stated that it works as expected.

Used to link and power Meta 3
Nice solid, smart looking cable. Great build quality and more than adequate length for my use case (seated VR driving sims). The 90 degree connection at the headset will relieve a lot of pressure on the headset input. A small cable tidy tied round the arm of the headset, further back from the usb post, can be left in place and this cable fed through it when connecting. This will take any additional strain from the usb connection. The cable will provide a trickle charge slightly prolonging battery life while connected to a pc but requires an additional usb c cable connected from a wall socket to the 'pc' end of the cable in order to actually charge your headset while playing. I don't bother with this personally, but the option is nice to have. Green power light at headset end of cable is quite dim and certainly no distraction while using the headset anyway. It is more convenient for checking the connection is good when first plugging in to the headset. The usb cable alone will steadily charge the headset while the headset is fully switched off but left connected to a pc that is powered on. I bought 2 of these cables for convenience to use in 2 different locations and managed to catch it on sale both times. Although I wouldn't hesitate at full price, if I needed a third, as it is excellent value for money compared to the meta branded version.

Charging issue
I'm having the same issue with alot of people when its connected to quest 3 fir charging its fine for a while then all of a sudden I get the dreaded message of liquid damage or debris in port charging has been disabled done alot of powering off and restarting only for it to happen again and again don't now what else to do using official meta plug and charge cable in the link cable seems just a faulty product

Probably the best wire you can get for the price.
Works exactly as you'd imagine, there's no way I can fault it. The material seems high quality and durable, and it's the only wire I've tried that charges faster than the quest drains.
