ALPAKA Metro Pouch - Utility Belt Pouch for EDC Gadgets and Molle Accessories, 3.5" L by 2.2" W by 5.3" H

My first Alpaca product. While the size can't quite accommodate a smart phone, the Metro Pouch has plenty of storage space and organisational compartments ensuring items are easy to access and are kept from settling in the bottom of the pouch. Attachment points allow it to be easily moved between bags (e.g. sling bags, backpacks, belts, etc.), and the materials (including weather-resistant zippers) and construction instill confidence in inclement weather. The orange interior lining is a nice touch for visibility inside the pouch.Requests for Version 2: second built-in attachment point for attaching to bags and a little lower price.

Pros:The pouch has high flexibility in how it can be carried.Materials used are quality, and will definitely hold up to being used.Belt carry on hip, backpack/sling strap carry, and anything utilizing the alpaka hub system.Cons:It's outside dimensions are fine, but it's a little small on the inside.For belt carry, it has a tendency to swivel and sit at an angle when you're opening or closing the pouch.

This is the perfect size, I love how small it is but how spacious it is. I don’t carry around one large tech bag for travel, I carry two. Some tech I don’t need all the time, so why pull it out? That’s where the metro pouch comes in from Alpaka. It’s my perfect size to slip in my most accessible part of my backpack, and just large enough to carry and organize all my essentials. Earbuds, charging cable, nitecore carbo battery, chapstick, pen, Airfly, and my work security dongle. All the stuff I use very frequently.The construction is amazing and awesome, and it has just enough size that it isn’t too bulky. It can also attach to many places with its genius attachment system on the back, though I mostly just use this as a regular pouch. I travel a lot for work and so this has been a godsend for me. I bought two to have one as a backup, and the black is very nice, but I love the pink xpac one because I’ll never forget a bright pink pouch behind!

Pros: Alternative to (small) sling bags that are annoying and unbalanced on your body. Looks and feels good quality, stylish looking.Cons: Will not fit a smartphone. If you actually wear it on your belt, it protrudes enough that it's noticeable and questionable fashion-wise (but it's good to have that option).Given these considerations, the best use-case for this is in airports, where you can keep it attached to your backpack strap to keep items that would normally go in your pocket and are annoying to remove and put back every time in security checkpoints. When you reach your plane seat, you can detach the pack to keep it with you and not have to go to your backpack in the overhead compartment for the things you need.

This pouch is a bit pricey but well worth it. It's more on the premium side and uses high quality materials. It's almost the cost of a full blown sling bag or tech bag which is much larger and uses way more material when manufacturing these products. But other than that, it is the perfect pouch for my needs for an upcoming travel plan I have. It fits perfect for the Alpaka Elements Travel backpack. The quality of material and design is good, just wish there was more room to fit smaller items so it can close properly due to the tight fit. This is my 6th Alpaka product and I believe I will be buying their products more in the future for sure.

Just got the metro pouch to use for work just to hold my extra stuff so my pockets don't feel so filled. Thought the pouch would be just a little bigger but it's still seems great for daily use.

Got this for a daily sling, and backpack when traveling overseas. Was worried at first that the straps wouldn’t work with the sling I have, as it was thin and would move up and down. It if you put it in at an angle, not only does it remain more stable, but the angle is perfect!The pouch is super well made. No doubt the materials and fabric will last a very long time. Love the pockets and the side fabric inside so nothing falls out.

I am not new to purchasing products from Alpaka. Been doing so for almost 2 years now and as always, never disappointing.I first picked one up a few on pre-order on their website and when they arrived, the first Impression was a good one.Solid build quality and serves its purpose! In fact, this choice practically tossed my wallet out. Plenty of storage and keeps my items protected and the best part is that it is hard to misplace.
