Gardena 39042-M 4 Piece Premium Metal Quick Connector Starter Set, Silver,Orange, Grey, Black

Got these to try as my Hizelocknones tended to drip a bit. These are very well made and are compatible with Hozelocck. Not even a single drop so far. Job done!!

Review for Gardena 36004 5 Piece Quick Connector Starter Set. Not really much can be said - its Gardena which is synonymous with quality. I like these (and their entire range of garden hose fittings) above any other make including metal versions. They work fine and never leak as always. Just a little expensive but for me, worth every penny.

NOTE this is for a flat connection hose not UK standard. The thread on Gardena products are awkward and ultimately different to any other tool, so you can’t mix and match with their accessories. Although this might not be an issue if you’re only using their products, I’ve had a few of their attachments get stuck without creating a seal deeming their parts useless.

Having previously had the plastic version of this I thought I’d upgrade after it perished. The bit that screws onto the outside tap just leaks, spraying water everywhere! The installation instructions are rubbish also and I ended up watching a YouTube video. I feel like I totally wasted my money as it’s useless. I’ve just reordered the plastic versions again

I’ve been using Gardens products for a few years now and can confirm they are a step up above those brands I assumed were bench marks on price and real world performance against value. Gardena products are significantly better in quality at all metric levels be it entry level budget or super high end. Faultless attention to detail. No leaks, annoying drips from seals you expect to work first time and all the time. I’ve invested in this brand and have no regrets and can highly recommend without reservation.
