Great book!
Bought for my 6 year old boy. It explained telling the time in a very straightforward way. It has a section on analogue clocks and a section on digital clocks. Covers all the information needed. Definitely helped it all click for my child.

A great way to learn how to tell the time
This book has proved to be really useful when teaching my daughter how to tell the time. We tried lots of different ways including worksheets, toy clocks etc but this book provides a really fun way for children to learn the time. It has lots of interesting questions, pictures and flaps and my daughter enjoys all of these options. We love the Usborne books and have a few of them in our collection now.

Great book
The usborne books are great and lovely. They have answers to the thousands of questions of the little and curious.I bought many Usborne books for my daughter. And we parents are interested in these books, too. I certainly recommend usborne books.

This is a beautiful book but it would be helpful to have an age on the book somewhere for guidance. My grandchild is three years and this book would be better for when she is 4-5 years. All children learn differently I know, but at the moment it's just a bit beyond her understanding though she knows and can read the numbers on the clock. We are starting with what she knows and letting her explore the moving hands on the clock.

Hands on
We love these flap books. This clock one is good and varied with a hands on hand moving clock and more.

Lovely book
My son had just finished year 1 and we were told he needed to start telling the time. I looked online and found this book. It’s a really useful and fun way to learn to tell the time, it’s broken down step by step and the lift the flaps are fun for the young children.

Great investment
Our household is big fans of the Usborne 'Lift the Flap' books; and this has been a welcome addition. The book is split into 2 halves, the first dealing with analogue clocks and the second with digital. I had read that it is important to teach analogue first, so we have concentrated on the first half of the book so far. My 5 year old, who previously could only grasp the hour and half past positions was confidentially doing quarters and 20s, past and to, after just one reading. Building an understanding of telling the time has helped with getting ready for school in the morning, and pre-bedtime activities, because we are able to demonstrate how long is left for play (or how much time has been wasted refusing to put socks on...)

Brilliant
Really good book for learning how to tell the time. There are lots of flood to lift to keep interest and it goes in stages to aid learning. My daughter loves this.
