Just Wow!
After watching several online reviews, I was curious enough to purchase the Pagani Design 1701 V3 Men's Chronograph—a 40mm watch with VK63 mecha-quartz movement, stainless steel case, and bracelet. At approximately $107, my expectation was simple: you get what you pay for. I anticipated a functional homage piece that would knock off the original design without much else to offer. However, once in hand, I was genuinely surprised by how much better this watch performs. It's hefty for its size with no detectable "cheapness" when you first handle it. The features work exceptionally well, and the chronograph's sweeping second hand has a smooth motion compared to standard quartz watches like my Casio. This is exactly the same as my Omega and Rolex watches. The timekeeping is flawless, and the watch is genuinely pleasant to look at—which, after accurate timekeeping, is probably the most important consideration. The second-hand hacking feature (where the seconds stop at sets automatically to 1200 when setting the time) is remarkable and something I've never encountered in a watch at this price point. Now, let's manage expectations. This watch is impressive for the price, but I wouldn't have purchased it for much more than its current selling point. It delivers features that some watches in the $250-$300 range either lack or fail to execute properly but it is still a 'tribute' watch and something that people that don't want to drop the price of a used car on a watch may want to explore. While it's very similar to its $7,000-$9,000 inspiration—the Omega Speedmaster—this watch is amazing within its context. Just don't expect luxury-tier finishing or longevity. The presentation exceeds expectations, arriving in a well-designed box with a magnetic latch that mimics high-end watch packaging. No leather or gold embossed box, carboard, but well made cardboard box. I'll need to visit a jeweler to adjust the bracelet for a proper fit, as I lack both the tools and patience to attempt it myself (though it doesn't appear difficult). Initially, the crown was factory-tight and required persistence to unscrew for time setting, but it works smoothly now. The sapphire crystal is quite stunning, displaying the characteristic greenish aura at certain angles—a telltale sign of quality AR coating. The exhibition caseback features engraving referencing "1701" with a space-themed motif of rockets and the moon, paying homage to the original design's NASA heritage. The Omega Speedmaster Professional was famously worn during the Apollo missions in the 1960s and 70s, earning its "Moonwatch" nickname. I own watches from Rolex, Omega, Citizen, Casio, and Timex—each from different eras of my life. I expected this Pagani Design wouldn't come close to those established names. Trust me when I say: it does. Very close indeed - as a daily wear. For the money, I'm over the moon with this one.

Accurate
Wears well worth the price paid. Had for almost two months and still very accurate. Looks good and nice timepiece that doesn’t have to be insured.

Great homage watch in atypical colorway!
Love this watch. Excellent overall detail and quality on the case, but not so much on the nylon strap, more on this later. Versatility in design and style with a functional 24H chronograph. Beautiful craftsmanship with very smooth operating screw down crown. The bezel details are crisp and have adequate depth. There does appear to have an anti-reflective coating on the actual sapphire crystal (you can see the blue double reflection under certain angles). Mechanism on this V3 PD-1701 with Japanese 🇯🇵 made Seiko movement. I have a 7” wrist and dial size isn’t too big, but the stiffness of the strap prior to breaking in might be a little annoying early on. Strap has actual leather details. I’m taking one star off because one of the retainer bands for the strap tail started fraying and came apart as I was inserting the tail end. This required a little bit of gluing and resulted in a not so tidy appearance, but I won’t be returning it, since it’s not too noticeable. I’ll be swapping the strap out soon anyways, as I prefer leather straps with contrasting thread details. The other issue with these are the illumination paint is horrible on these, as it only lasts a few minutes and completely gone within 20 minutes or so. I’d happily pay an extra $5-8 extra for quality anti-reflective coating and lume indicators that last. Great watch for collectors in this Omega Speedmaster homage piece in a very attractive color way and quality in details (minus the strap). Don’t consider a Speedmaster replica with Omega markings, get this one at a very fair value with great materials and build quality on the timepiece itself. Very impressed at this price point.

Excellent watch, bezel blue color looks deeper blue in hand than pictures show
Great watch, I have two others that I have in my daily rotation. My only complaint is not with the watch itself, rather the bezel colorway. It looks like a vibrant Pepsi bezel in the pictures, but depending on the light, the Blue portion of the bezel looks more Black than it does Blue. Provided it is bright enough around you, it is a deep blue color for that portion of the bezel. Still, it is a great homage to the Omega Speedmaster. I would still highly recommend this colorway and the PD-1701 as it is an excellent daily wear and the Seiko VK63 movement is bulletproof.

Great watch
Ordered the watch for my son's birthday. He chose it to be the crown jewel of his collection. In real life it is even more beautiful than on the listing. He was very happy until the buckle started randomly opening. I contacted the seller and I got a reply in about 5 days, that they are on holiday and I should message them later on, they will find a solution. Before I got the reply I already contacted Amazon (at day 4), because that was the last day of the return window. Amazon took care of the issue and we received a replacement. The replacement so far does not show the random opening issue and my son is very happy. I would consider buying from the same seller again with Amazon backing the purchase. The watch looks very nice, deserves the 5 star.

Good for the price
First chronograph watch, it’s affordable and you’ll get a ton of compliments with it. You can either wear it daily or swap out with other watches depending on how you feel.

Watch is fine, bracelet sucks!
The watch itself is pretty good and very much what you'd be expecting/hoping for at this price. The bracelet, however, is absolute JUNK and has literally fallen off the watch several times. I've replaced it with an aftermarket strap and I'm a happy camper now, but do NOT expect that you can use this watch with the bracelet it comes on. It WILL come off at the most inopportune time and you may lose your watch completely.

Pretty Good for the Price
This review is from an owner of an actual Omega watch. Let's get this out of the way, I am reviewing this based on the price vs quality that you get. TL;DR - 4 Stars, decent quality. Good Quartz Movement. Slight QC issues, but nothing major or a show stopper. This is a quartz movement based Speedmaster homage watch. This is to copy the Omega Speedmaster look and design with a battery operated movement at a very affordable cost. Does it do it? Pretty close. Watch Details of what I noticed: - Bracelet. Its a light steel bracelet, feels on the "cheaper" end of bracelets I have seen/worn from other brands. However, still decent. Its not finished ultra smooth and has slightly rough edges. It won't cut or scratch your skin, but it feels slight rough. Looks good though and will hold up in the end. It comes with 8 Removable links, plus an adjustment on the bracelet clasp itself for more fine tightening or loosening as needed through out the day. 3/5 Stars - Watch Case. Stainless steel, high polish/shine. Feels good and sturdy. Despite being a quartz movement, has decent weight to it. Lugs feel fine and sturdy. Not much to say. 5/5 - Watch Face. Its a Speedmaster Moonwatch copy with a couple of variations. It has a date movement and the 3 O'clock function is a 24-hour clock. On the original moonwatch, there is no date movement and the 3 O'clock function is a .1 - .9 second function on the Tachymeter timing. I actually like these variations, especially the date movement. Its nice and hidden between the 4 and 5 hour markers. The watch is easy to read with its bright white accents on the hands and face against the black background. 5/5 - Movement. This is a Seiko VK63 quartz movement. I did look up this movement and its a fairly robust quartz movement. Known for its longevity and reliability. Batteries should last between 24-36 months, depending on how much you actually use the timing feature on the watch. 5/5 - Quality. Overall, seems very decent for the price and what you are getting. I did notice slight jumping on the minute hand when using the timing function on the watch, but it actually never loses time. The second hand at the 6 O'clock position is not in line with the face half the time, but it does keep 60 seconds accurately. 3/5 - Overall. Pretty happy with this watch for its price. Its a good homage to the moonwatch. 4/5
