The media could not be loaded. Dehydrating food has come so far with respect to ease, amount of food, and space taken up! I am 45 in 2025, so for you young pups, this might come as a surprise, but our grandmothers used to dehydrate food by turning the oven to 200° and leaving the door open. It helped to warm up the kitchen that way as well. There was the more native way, now more commonly referred to as “bushcraft” where a large pile of wood would be lit and once the fire was extremely hot, it would be closed in, starving it for oxygen and creating lots of smoke. This could be done in smoke house out buildings or with pieces of wood leaned around center bars to hang fish and meat from to dehydrate and help preserve for the colder months when food was more scarce.Now I do a lot of organic gardening and can't possibly eat everything that I grow before it goes bad. I have frozen much of it, but that takes up a lot of space in my freezer that I could use for something else.In comes fabulous little device that checks all the boxes for me. Its beautiful in stainless steel, heats fast, keeps a consistent temperature, and is really pretty quiet. There are 12 large trays that slide in and each tray includes a silicone mat for things like making fruit roll-ups!Time and temperature are controlled by to very easy to turn knobs that have blue led lighting indicating the time remaining and the set temperature of the dehydrator.I have a 20+ year old dehydrator that worked alright, but there were some issues and they all revolved around the trays being stacked on top of each other. If I needed to flip the fruit on the bottom tray, I had to remove the 3 trays above it first. Also, the round shape made placing long items impossible.I've been wanting a dehydrator like this style for years and finally pulled the trigger and I'm only looking forward from here!I can't believe that I can see through a glass door and see each individual tray and we can all be in the same room without trouble having a conversation - even if its running! I LOVE that point especially! It is too inconvenient to have to move people or appliances just to have a conversation.I love this easy to use decide.Ooohhh!!! I almost forgot! It comes with a full-color, easy to read and understand recipe book with time and temp directions for dehydrating whatever your heart desires.I love this machine and keep using it and know that now that summer is around the corner, ill be using it much more often to preserve all the goodies from my garden. It's got a sleek, user - friendly design with easy - to - use controls and multiple racks for drying different foods at once.The performance is top - notch. Apple slices dried evenly, keeping their great flavor and chewy texture. Papaya dried efficiently, concentrating its tropical sweetness. And drying belly pork was a pleasant surprise; it prepped the meat perfectly for cooking, removing excess moisture and enhancing flavor absorption.Cleaning is a breeze too. Overall, it's a great investment for making homemade snacks and experimenting with drying. I highly recommend it!

This food dehydrator made some awesome beef jerky. It dries consistently, has a timer, and temp control up to 190F ish. It looks nice, very clean nice look. Easy to use. Comes with 12 racks, which I found you can dry up to 15lbs of beef jerky at a time. The downside: The racks can be difficult to clean because if any liquid drips to the edge of the rack it's impossible to clean unless you scrub it with a toothbrush, the racks are easy to bend, but with careful handling, they'll be fine. The other downside, is it can take anywhere from 30min to 1 hour to preheat this dehydrator, so just preheat it to get consistent timing. I really hope this food dehydrator lasts a long time, but I will leave an update in the future if there are any issues. So far I really feel like this is a good value especially the amount of food you can dehydrate at a time. So far pretty happy.

I’ve gradually upgraded dehydrators over the years, my last one was an Excalibur, which still works, 15+ years later. This one is a higher quality build and works like a professional machine. It also has a lot of room to spread out the products. I can do marinated beef jerky strips in 4.5 hrs, which would take 12+ hours in the Excalibur! I love it! Got it at an amazing price, as well.

The box arrived damaged. You can see in the pic of the box that it came with a hole that had been taped up. That's ok as along as the contents were ok there's a slight dent also pictured. Functionally the thing works like a charm. The dials are super easy to turn and the operation is straight forward. In my first batch I dehydrated 6 bananas, 6 apples, 7 kiwi and 3 pounds of blueberries. That's a lot of fruit in one dehydrator. I made some rookie mistakes had the heat set too high which made the fruit a little "burnt". My second batch went differently. I fit 6 bananas 2 pounds of strawberries 6 apples and 6 large oranges and my result is much better being patient. It's a well made appliance all stainless steel 2 fans and the grids hold a lot more than you'd think. I can't wait to do jerky and some other things I have planned. 4 stars cuz the box was damaged but 5 stars overall. Nice.

The media could not be loaded. This dehydrator is very spacious and very efficient and effective. I tried making dried tomatoes and it was completed in around 8 hours. It doesn’t increase the ambient temperature much. It’s not very loud and hardly noticeable just from the sound. It’s easy to clean as well. I have been impressed with it.
