Was a lot harder to do than I thought. I would rather build this 10 times over than set these lights up again. I’m certainly not made to be an engineer

I have quite a few LEGO premium sets, but I've never bought a light set for any of them. I chose the A-Frame Cabin light set because it was reasonably priced and the cabin really lends itself well to lighting. Based on my experience with this set, I would have no reservations buying the Eiffel Tower or Titanic light sets. BRISKMAX does a good job imitating LEGO with their instruction sheets and packaging. The instructions are largely pictorial with only limited written descriptions. There were a few steps where written descriptions might have made things clearer, but I didn't run into any snags that weren't of my own making. The bags are laid out and numbered like LEGO bags and they even included some genuine LEGO bricks that were necessary for the build. I'm very surprised at the strength of the wiring. The gauge is absolutely tiny and yet none of my wires ripped out of the connectors even after multiple rewiring attempts. This was my biggest fear, and yet it's held together surprisingly well and very durable. Even the connectors are robust and stay plugged in. The quality of the LEDs is also very good. There are flickering lights to simulate flames and yellow lights for lanterns. I have no issues with brightness running them off three AA rechargeables. I see no reason to power them a USB plug. Of course assembly will always be an issue when you're trying to run even small wires through LEGO. LEGO is famous for its tight tolerances, but it's not insurmountable. I found it easier to notch a few LEGO pieces to create a channel for the wires. Something like the A-Frame Cabin has a light of hiding places for lights and wiring. Not all LEGO sets may be as forgiving. Think about that before purchasing a light kit. Overall, the BRIKSMAX kit adds a lot of value to this set. Some sets work better with lighting than others, but this one was excellent. As I said before, I won't hesitate to buy more BRIKSMAX sets, depending on the LEGO. They are surprisingly high quality and worth the price.

This was the first light kit I have purchased and the installation was so easy. You do need some patience but overall was quite easy and it made such a difference to the set. It’s like it brought it to life. Parts and components are very well made and it’s a deal at this price point. My only issue now is I want light kits for all my modular’s. Highly recommend buying this as you wont be disappointed

This kit is well designed, the instructions are top notch. Will buy again for other models.
