Expensive but an excellent and very healthy product.

I have never purchased Barberries before but needed them for a Persian Rice dish. I found them delicious so started to use with breakfast cereral especially if you soak them first. Delicious with porridge oats. Will purchased again.

Good quality barberries - I use these a lot in cooking. If you do any Indian/Iranian cooking, these do add a lot of flavour. I use these in rice dishes (biryanis or Ottenghi's recipes) and they have a wonderful flavour. I would recommend these, I think they were the cheapest when I was looking. They arrived quickly (and thankfully fit through the letter box so I don't need to sign for them). A substitute often suggested in recipes is dried cranberries. I've tried recipes with both, and honestly, it's worth getting hold of barberries instead. There is more depth of flavour and almost sour notes and a fragrance, so well worth spending a bit extra to get hold of them

I bought these dried Barberries as I needed them for a Lebanese recipe. I haven't used Barberries before but these were very tasty. They arrive vacuum sealed in a plastic bag so be prepared to have something to store them in because once it is opened it is not resealable. My recipe for 6 people needed 35g, so this 200g bag will last some time. In my recipe it called for plumping them up in the stock, and once cooked they tasted much sweeter than when I tried one dry, which was nice but a little sharp.

These are great berries I use on my cereal, they have a pleasant taste, they give sweet taste and replaces sugar, Good price I would recommend giving them a go🙂

Litle to like quite disappointed

Great for adding extra health to cereal and rice dishes. Not too dry and very tasty. Soak them if you want them plumper. Came vacuum packed and resealable. A bit extensive but lasts ages and I’ve just ordered a second packet!
