Chugger Pumps SSPH-CI Stainless Steel Center Beer Pump Replacement Head, 1/2" Outlet, 3/4" Inlet MPT Connections

I ordered two of these Chugger Pump SS replacement heads to replace the plastic heads on my pumps. The product worked as advertised and I was very pleased with the performance. Now comes the problem.I use pumps in my brewing system and with a ten gallon system I don't have to brew very often. To test the operation of the new pump heads, I ran a simulation with hot water and cleaner through my system and both pumps worked very well. By the time I brewed my next batch of beer, the time to return a defective product had expired and it wasn't until clean up and disassembly of the pumps that I discovered the problem. On one of the pumps, a single screw hole was stripped out about half way. Concerned that this could lead to a future problem with the screw hole stripping out all of the way, I submitted a request for replacement of one pump head. After a week or two of not hearing from Wholesale Pumps or Amazon, I called Amazon. Customer service was very polite and seemed to understand the problem and said they would contact the company and if I didn't hear anything in a week to let them know. When I didn't get a response I called again. Amazon seemed to indicate that if my concern wasn't resolved they would take action.Long story short I was notified that a refund had been denied because it was past the refund period. I explained the above about brewing and cleaning and that I didn't want a refund, as I was satisfied with the product, but rather a replacement. I received another email - request denied.I would have given the product Five Starts for how well it worked and One Star to the response of my concerns. The average is Three, so if you buy this product, make sure you use it, disassemble it, clean it and put it back together before your time runs out!

This item ended up being 20.00 more than I found it for later. Look around.
