Cheddar Cheese Powder

I was looking to make mac and cheese with low-carb noodles... this stuff worked really well. The flavor is good; it's not dissimilar to cheetos seasoning. It mixes well with noodles, without much clumping. Easy to use. If you want to do the same as me, let me help you out.. per 1 pound of noodles, mix in 1/2 stick of butter to the cooked noodles. Stir well, then dump in your cheese powder while stirring. And don't be stingy, dump in A LOT of it. If you think you've added too much, you're wrong. Anyway, I really enjoyed this cheese powder. It tastes good and mixes well. Order with confidence.

Sometimes it’s just easier and brings out a better cheese flavor to go with the powder (like the mac n cheese box kits) rather than having to use tons of faux cheese (Velveeta-like). This makes it easy to make your own mac n cheese or just enhance that sharp flavor in any recipe that cals for cheese w/o having to keep adding exhorbant amts of cheese. I use in m&c, grits, biscuits, broccoli soup rt al. So handy.

The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the fluorescent color! Next time I'll be ordering the uncolored version. Nice to have for a variety of things... sprinkled on popcorn or other pastas, made into mac and cheese (and you can regulate the flavor intensity). I must say, we really went through the jar pretty quickly, as it was an instant hit in my house!

What a great bye on excellent tasting powdered cheese. Will come in handy add all my favorite dishes that have cheese and if they don’t call for cheese, I’ll put cheese in it anyway!!! This really does go great with about anything. And as much more economical, then buying block brick, sliced or grated cheese just to put it in to a dish to mix it or melt it. Blends very well with any food we cook it with. Oh and goes great on popcorn. And in dips. Also if you want to try something really good, we found that putting some spoonfuls on your next tacos gives you a whole new amazing way to eat them. On top of all that this stuff last close to forever in your cabinet if you keep it sealed up good

This product works best when mixed into dishes to which I want to add a little cheese flavor without all the fat. But unlike other cheese powders, this one is apt to clump up into unpleasant, dry, rough lumps that are startling to encounter as you eat. It's also sticky when used on popcorn, but not in a way that makes it stick to the popcorn; it sticks to your fingers and makes them uncomfortably tacky. It's also unnecessarily, violently orange. The flavor is barely there, and it tastes very salty. Only good thing about this item is the price. I'll use up the jar, but I won't buy this again.

The flavor is wonderful. The size of the tub is great, especially when compared to the small bottles of flavored popcorn sprinkles that are out there. Everything is wonderful about this except for one flaw in the bottle lid design (while it does have a half side that opens for a sprinkle option - the holes are too small and it gets blocked by the thick powder). I just remove the lid and generously sprinkle over the popcorn. Mix the popcorn well, add some white cheddar sprinkle as well and viola~. You have the perfect cheesy snack (I use it over kettle corn and the sweet/salty/cheesy is the best combo I've found! :)

Cheesiest. More like Kraft Macaroni Dinner cheese. Sometimes it’s easier to mix with butter, cream or milk products before adding but I mix it with cream cheese for a cheese spread or mix with butter or margarine and then add to macaroni or spaghetti . It’s a good buy.

I bought this for popcorn. This has zero flavor. My father ran Sun Valley Miniature Golf Course back in the 1970s. There was a simple pop corn machine that dropped a paper bag then Cheese Popcorn. He bought it from wholesale joint. The machine was popcorn kept warm with a 60 watt bulb. I wanted that simple powder flavor on fresh popcorn. Google and Amazon really had no choices that did not read like the powder for Kraft Mac & Cheese. This product made the claim for POPCORN. The delivery was on the ground, I picked it up, opening and tasting it with the tip of tongue. It had a faint Mac & Cheese powder. Not my choice, but I hoped it make cheese popcorn. I popped kernels my Amazon Wok. A Little butter, salt tossed, I added the cheese powder. I sought just enough to hint cheese through and through. I added, tasted, repeated. Zero flavor. The flavor hinted faded FAST. The imitation cheese with ingredients to prove it clinged to my fingers. I added enough to turn EVERY popped kernel. Zero flavor. Imitation Cheese all orangey on my sticky fingers. There is no butter or milk, nothing that will not make a mush mess. I plan not to return this and I'll experiment hoping a miracle. I shall remember never to buy this imitation cheese powder again.
