Awful quality
Awful quality. I’ve been using Fitch for a couple of years now and buying the 20kg bags never had a problem until now. All throughout the bag there are quite large pieces of hard stiff cardboard. I know Fitch is made of recycled paper but never seen this before. The pieces are really hard and stiff and I’m concerned by pets will eat this so I’m having to pick it out but there is just too much. Last time I ever buy Fitch and will move onto something else next time. Feel like throwing it all away.

Quality has definately decreased
When I first started using this product it was amazing. Recently the paper bedding has been full of chunks of cardboard and it is also exceptionally dusty. The price has also increased considerably. I was £23 for 20kg a year ago. I'm now £23 for 10kg. Have just purchased different bedding from a different company. Won't be buying this again.

Great bedding for hamsters so far!
I bought this to replace my usual Kaytee Clean and Cozy as the bigger bags are just so expensive now! This would be 5 stars but I know this bedding used to be £20 for 20kg so price has increased a bitThis bedding is great so far but I have found a few blue pieces of paper in it - Not a huge deal, I just picked out the few pieces I found. It’s soft, doesn’t smell and isn’t dusty.Hopefully I’ll continue to like this, it may be my new bedding of choice 😊

The best I have found for Guinea pigs
Having tried lots of other types of bedding for my Guinea pigs I have settled on this as my favourite. I put a thick layer on the hutch floor and then put a towel over the top. With this arrangement the droppings, hay and food don’t get into the bedding and it is easy to just pick out the wet areas of paper when tou need to. The bedding compacts down to make firm and flat footing for them, unlike a paper bedding I tried which was like torn tissue and resulted in a floor that resembled the Himalayas. It is also as dust free as anything can be. All small animal bedding appears stupidly priced, but this is the most economical I have found due how little you need to use each clean-out time.

Gerbils Paradise
Brought this after was recommended to me and I have to say I'm very happy with it. Most of all, my gerbils love the stuff. Mixed with aspen and hay they are making tunnels to their hearts content. Lasts a long time as very good in absorbing. Many reviews have spoken about the blue stuff appearing in the bedding and I have to agree there is but I didn't have much in my bag so I guess I must have been lucky? Price has seemed to have increased which is sad to see but as it lasts a while for me I don't mind paying out at the moment but I'm currently looking around for same quality but cheaper.

Was good, then bad
At first this bedding was perfect for my mouse. There was no dust, but after buying it a few times I found that for some reason the last few batches I bought were very dusty and gave my mouse breathing problems so I have stopped buying this. Quite disappointed

Love this, we tried Megazorb on recommendation
Love this, we tried Megazorb on recommendation, but it really has a most unpleasant smell (worse than the bit of hamster wee it is there for to soak up). It does not have any smell and our hamster loves it. He builds himself lovely cozy looking nests with this and other nesting material provided which he was not able to do with Megazorb.

Great hamster bedding & substrate
I've recently come back to this product as a substrate for my hamster, after exploring alternatives. Nothing else I've tried is as good. Fitch is absorbent, hardly smells of anything (but for a generic fresh scent), and soft enough to use as bedding material at the same time as strong enough to support tunnel structures. It's warm to boot, and that it's white in colour makes it easy to spot clean. Pairs really well with a large glass vivarium for the perfect hamstertat!
