I can't live without these hair building fibers. I have severely thinning hair on the top and sides of my head (hypothyroid) but the Toppik fibers cover it so well that even people who have known me with thick hair tell me they can't tell that I've lost so much. It's been a massive boost to my self-confidence and I re-order as soon as I get low. The .97 oz usually lasts me a little over a month. I haven't noticed any residue left on my pillows or messiness when I get sweaty, like others have. I do spin class twice a week and sweat like crazy, but mine has always stayed put. I always look at myself up and close in the mirror and I suppose if someone did the same, they could tell. I haven't had an issue with this. I genuinely have more confidence and don't bother to think that you can see it. The only thing I haven't done is gone swimming!

I've used Toppik for years to cover thinning areas. There are copy cats on the market, but Toppik is the best in terms of quality. The fibers are static charged to stick to your hair which reduces the mess while combing. It's a good idea to gently rub the fibers through your hair to blend them in. After combing add a touch of hairspray to get yourself through wind, rain and just about anything else. It's extremely natural looking and no one will be able to tell, not even your barber. The downside of this product is the price. I suggest buying the giant container to cut on costs and browsing the internet for best vender prices. The cheaper imitations cut corners on the quality which is unacceptable if you're trying to look your best. The less costly ones are also horribly messy and much of it ends up on your clothing or on the floor. You should also be aware that even with Toppik, some of it will rub off on your bed pillow or car headrest. That's not a problem, it easily washes off or can be brushed off. Toppik really does live up to the advertisements of being a 30 second hair transplant. This is one of the few products that's not full of marketing bull, it does deliver.

I find that Toppik works easier on short hair. Long hair takes a little longer to fuss with. You must sprinkle it on the hair, and then comb and pat it in so it clings to the hair shaft. Toppik blends in nicely if you match the appropriate color. Mix with white colored Toppik if you have graying hair. Avoid using too much on your hair. Comb it in first and add more if needed. This requires practice.I have heard complaints about Toppik being messy. Here are some tips. Try not to have fans or space heaters blowing when you apply Toppik. Otherwise, it makes your bathroom dirty in no time at all. Use a styling or holding gel first before applying Toppik. Hair-spray also works. This will minimze embarrassing rub-off on someone's lounge chair. White pillow slips will show some of the rub-off, but remember that Toppik is water soluable and will wash out easily without leaving a permanent stain. If you're an overnight guest at someone's home, bring a towel to toss over the pillow to avoid leaving smudge spots.Keep in mind who you are. If you want 100% convenience without additional labor this product may not be for you. I am very health and appearance conscious, so this product meets my concerns about safety and having a "natural" look.

I like that Toppix does not have chemicals and fillers. I've tried other products and discovered ingredients that I did not want on my head. It fills in very well. I recommend Toppix and I will continue to purchase it!

It does what it says, completely covering up areas of thinning hair, and adding much needed volume. The only drawback is that you can't get a scalp massage without grossing out the masseuse, or use a white pillow case, for that matter, unless you wash your hair every evening before going to bed. I had to brief my hairstylist about it, too, for when he shampoos my hair prior to a trim.It can go everywhere when you're applying it, so you have to learn the art of carefully tapping it onto your hair without the particles flying all over the bathroom. I use a salon cape during application (bought cheaply at my local beauty supply store). I tried using the Toppik Spray applicator, but it only succeeded in spraying some of the product away from my scalp, leaving bare spots, thereby defeating its purpose. If I hold the applicator farther away, it wastes product by spraying where I don't want it to go. I had better luck just gently tapping the product onto the exact area I want straight from the canister. In summary, Toppik works wonders restoring, at least temporarily (all day, in fact), the appearance of a full head of hair. Using it regularly requires a little getting used to and a few adjustments in lifestyle, which to me, were worth the effort.

Wouldn’t be without Toppik! A few shakes, be sure to lightly pat, never rubs off on ANYTHING, lasts until hair shampooed. I’ve tried ’em all (many, many, anyway). A little bit goes a long way and, most importantly, I feel much more confident. Great product!!

I've been using Toppik for several months and think it is one of the best hair building fiber products available at a reasonable price. There are only two drawbacks I've experienced with my many uses: It can smudge furniture if you lay your head against cloth-based furniture and it can begin to itch a bit if you refrain from washing your hair for more than four days. However, I've begun washing my hair like twice a week and that has eliminated the itchiness while still preserving my supply for a longer period of time. It makes me look years younger and I feel years younger. I recommend it to those who are experiencing those uncomfortable years of begining hair loss.AND, I am so pleased with the quick response time Amazon has for delivery of the product
