Very sturdy, easy to fold up and store away. I feel safe climbing on this ladder getting to my high cabinets in the kitchen (9 ft ceiling). I only need the second step, but I used the third while hanging wallpaper. If you don't get it all the way out and locked, it will lock when you first step on it, so don't be surprised. Just step on the rear rung and fold the ladder up it's so easy. This thing does not move! Love it!

This is a sturdy metal ladder--not a featherweight aluminum one--with wonderfully wide, stable steps. I have no trouble opening, folding or carrying it, but someone short or frail might find its weight challenging. At my age (75) I appreciate the stability of this design and material!

this thing is such a great size (taller than most reg step ladders) it's SUPER STURDY and stable when using/climbing - but most of all - it is SUPER easy to open and close; no pinching, no weird locking mechanisms and it's just quick and easy for me.

My husband is 80 and I'm not far behind. The 'kids' didn't want us climbing a step ladder, but we have things to do around the house and are not patient enough to wait for them to visit. I purchased the 4-step version of this ladder and it has been in use in my home for over 12 months. • It is sturdy and does not shake or move when climbing, allowing me to face my work directly for better stability. • The top shelf is very convenient—it has an area for paint cans containing small ridges to hold different size cans, tools slots for hammers, screwdrivers, etc, and two small parts areas. • The ladder has good stability. For example, it remained steady while I changed light fixtures on a 9 foot ceiling and when reaching the top of the Christmas Tree. • Compared to my previous ladder, this one feels much more secure and is easier to move around the house. Once folded, I can carry it with one hand or arm in a vertical position. • The only downside is that folding it from the open position to its flat storage position can be a little stubborn at times. Overall, this was a good purchase.

This item is sturdy, folds compactly, and mostly easy to use. I found it to be worth the price and am confident in using it around my home. It is easy to open and close after the first time using it. It doesn't wobble when fully opened. My only concern: there is a heftiness to its weight which might be a concern for some folks.

This is a solid step stool! It locks when you set it up. Heavy duty, but not too heavy to carry. I’m really pleased with it! I feel very safe using it!

Great step ladder! Works exactly as described & the price point was right. I’m not a short person, but my husband is 6’6”! So, when he is putting things away, items end up on the highest possible shelves tucked far back & out of reach for any average height human. This step stool helps the non-giants in our household reach everything without needing a taller ladder. I’m 5’7” & feel very safe with the ladder stability when using the top step. Easily stores as it folds flat & is lightweight. Easy to open and fold.
