Iskra 100w PEARL LIGHTBULBS supplied
I was a bit disappointed that the brand name "MAXIM" (as advertised) were not supplied, but Czechoslovakian "ISKRA" lightbulbs were delivered instead.... looked at the customer reviews about the product listed, and saw many, many * (one star) ratings. To be honest, I was going to return the lightbulbs unused to the seller based on the reviews, but chose to keep an open mind, and decide for myself by trying one of them.I did some research, and discovered that "Iskra" are actually the leading manufacturers of lightbulbs in the Ukraine, and they also have branches in Czechoslovakia, hence where I understand these bulbs came from. The box reads that they conform to European Standards, and have the 1000h life to be expected.I am still using the first lightbulb from the parcel delivered.... so far so good! 2 months usage = I'd estimate around 200h so far, therefore I can only give a **** (4 star) rating instead of 5.My motto is: "don't judge a book by its cover" - these "Iskra" lightbulbs appear to be perfectly ok.(I might be tempted to write another review in a few months time, in which I might even be stating that I am still using only the first bulb still!)

Decent Product at a Reasonable Pirce
Decent quality incandescent light bulbs at a reasonable price. I'm pleased these are still available as the harsh light from the new LED bulbs gives me a headache.N.B. Some of the extreme negative reviews of this product defy credibility and must be fake.

Good bulbs, but not ideal for posting.
On hindsight, ordering lightbulbs through the post maybe isn't THAT good an idea. The parcel arrived a bit mis-shapen and broken glass could be heard. I contacted the seller, suggesting that "most" of them would be broken and I wasn't opening the parcel to find out, leaving the place knee-deep in shards of glass. He told me that, usually, only one is broken. I took him at his word and, sure enough, the rest were perfect. They were extremely good value, even with one missing, so I didn't complain about the broken one. In use, they were as good as more expensive bulbs but, in all honesty, I think I'll stick to buying them in store. If, for example, you are housebound or live miles from a bulb shop, then this could be of help to you but, otherwise, maybe not such a great idea. The seller's response led me to believe that the pack seldom arrives completely intact. Give the postman a break, buy them in town. The postman, himself, is probably due two of these stars.☺

Be careful with these.
These are obviously good value or to put it another way maybe cheap and cheerful. We have used a few of them without any problems but last night one of them spat out the globe part and left the connector in the light socket. Luckily it didn't hit me or my wife and landed on the carpet via the bed so didn't smash into pieces. It was a bit of a shock and we have decided not to risk using the six bulbs we have left.
