Kuvings Cold Press Wide Feed Juicer, 240 W, Red

Before buying I did my research. I dismissed centrifugal juicers because they are wasteful, typically hard to clean and produce insipid aerated juice. Out of the alternatives I opted for vertical single auger type juicers as the most space saving and general purpose non centrifugal juicers. The more expensive twin auger horizontal juicers didn't seem to offer sufficient if any advantages to justify their higher price esp given they are typically harder to clean. I also dismissed the cheaper vertical single auger juicers opting instead for an established brand. Of those remaining the Kuvings Whole Slow juicer as its called in the US seemed the most interesting of the latest models well reviewed on YouTube etc. Glad to report I made a good choice. Can't speak for the competition but I'm very happy with the Kuvings. Can honestly say its one of my best kitchen appliance purchases ever. Its solid well built, obvious and easy to assemble use and clean, and makes absolutely superb juice which can be stored in the fridge up to 48 hours. I've had this juicer just under a month during which time I've been experimenting juicing fruit but mostly vegetables and greens. Ultra quick and easy to assemble. To clean most things just need rinsing under the tap after use. For the sieve use the handy supplied cleaner. The wide opening takes things like carrots, apples and beetroot whole also reducing food preparation. Although fibrous veg need to be cut-up otherwise they will tend to clog the pulp out feed. Happily juices apples, pears, carrots, beetroot including stalk leaves and root, ginger, garlic, leafy herbs like coriander and parsley, red cabbage cut-up, spring onions and celery finely sliced, whole onions with dry outer skin removed, peppers, garlic, ginger, curly kale and leafy spinach. You get the idea, it can juice pretty anything with minimal fuss.

So after much reading and discussing, we decided to buy the Kurvings. The assembling was pretty straight forward and easy (YouTube video) and getting our first juice was a few minutes job. The machine is well built and sturdy. It has simple functions that anyone can use. Cleaning can be a bit painful because of the different components that need washing but a run under the water for most of it is enough. However, the main juice holder has two nozzles where the juice and waste comes out from. The one for the waste is a bit of a pain to clean if you've used soft fruits because it gets stuck and the cleaning wire won't go that far to clean the fruits out. Other than that, the machine is a charm- will update as this is only the 2nd time using it.

It does juice leafy veg great but when I put the plastic containers in the dishwasher they went all cloudy. The advise is only juice as much as you will drink in one sitting so I ended up doing a lot of washing up.

This makes beautiful juice it extracts the pulp really well only a small amount gets through, my only gripe is the noise - it is advertised as silent and it is far from this - constant whirring and whistling noises, my ears are ringing by the end of juicing - my braun blender is quieter.

I have had a Philips avance for over a year and as I use it daily thought it was time to upgrade to a slow juicer,spurred on by the fact you can keep the juice for 72 hours.The down side of Kuvings is its a pain to assemble and disassemble.If anything is slightly out of line it wont go together.Im getting the hang of it but its quite stiff to take apart.Its as quick to clean as the Philips was.the juice is more pulpy but you get double the juice than from the Philips and if you hate the thicker juice you can always strain it.Its very quiet and although its called slow it really isn't.You have to learn not push anything down hard but it has a reverse button is anything gets jammed.So far Ive juiced everything except wheatgrass which is my next purchase and its very time saving not having to make a juice everyday but make a big batch up.I looked at few slow juicers and due the fact there is almost no chopping this one won hands down for a lazy bod like me UPDATE my juicer is under a year old and is now faulty.I have been pushed from pillar to post in an effort to get it fixed and have now hit a brick wall.Amazon say it cant be returned and I cant get any further with them and Kuvings say its down to the UK distributor but they are not replying to my emails.Im so frustrated and very angry with all concerned and on that basis I would highly recommend you dont buy thsi product unless you have money to throw away

Es una extractora de bajas revoluciones que funciona casi casi perfecta y, no digo perfecta porque aunque trabaja bien con los vegetales verdes no al nivel de una Omega de un solo tornillo tipo Omega 8004. Con esto no quiero decir que vaya mal, sino que cumple con su trabajo. Es una gozada poder introducir una manzana completa, una zanahoria grande, un pepino... Quiero decir que lleva poco trabajo de cortado de las verduras y frutas y, se agradece. Referente a la limpieza viene equipada completamente con sus cepillos y, se limpia todo bien. Como cualquier extractora.

Il giudizio sul prodotto nel complesso è decisamente buono. Facile e divertente da usare, ottimi i risultati, decisamente facile da pulire. La pulizia richiede tanta acqua ma, rispetto alla centrifuga che usavo in precedenza, è molto rapida e si possono comunque fare diversi succhi prima di sciacquare il tutto e metter via. Per quanto riguarda i materiali colpisce per peso e robustezza. Le superfici in plastica non sono rimaste macchiate da alcuni alimenti, tipo la carota, che solitamente lasciano chiazze molto evidenti. Da quanto l'ho acquistato ho realizzato succhi ogni due giorni mentre con la centrifuga, a causa della scomodità d'uso, ne facevo solo una volta a settimana alla domenica. Avendone acquistato un secondo per mia madre, anch'ella entusiasta del prodotto, mi sono reso conto che il contenuto della confezione può variare. Il suo per esempio è stato spedito dalla Germania e non conteneva il manuale ed il ricettario in italiano; è comunque possibile scaricarli dal sito kuvingsitalia.it. Entrambi le confezioni contenevano un solo filtro: quello per i succhi. I filtri per gelato e smoothies sono acquistabili a parte. Per quanto riguarda gli aspetti negativi direi che non ne ho individuato nessuno di rilievo.

E il secondo estrattore che acquisto. Premetto che lo utilizzo praticamente tutti i giorni, quindi, il primo acquistato, pur avendo fatto il suo dovere egregiamente, ha iniziato a dare segni di cedimento dopo appena 6 mesi e prima di 1 anno si e rotto. Di questo invece posso dire che la qualità costruttiva si percepisce fin dal momento in cui si tira fuori dall'imballo. Ogni pezzo si incastra con precisione e le parti in plastica sono molto piu spesse, e i giri al minuto inferiori. Il residuo e abbastanza asciutto questo a garanzia che la quantità di succo estratto sia elevata. Il prezzo non è trascurabile ma lo consiglierei a chiunque sa di farne un uso quotidiano

Después de haber comprado recientemente una licuadora tradicional Philips (que funcionaba muy bien), mi madra se empeñó en la Kuvings ésta después de ver una demostración. La uso cada día para hacer el zumo de desayuno con aquellas frutas o verduras que tenga más a mano (o que ya estén punto de pasarse), así que he probado con col, acelgas, manzana, melocotón, apio, remolacha, fresas, sandía, melón, pera, etc. Aunque la mayoría de cosas se pueden poner sin pelar, yo personalmente lo pelo todo. E incluso las manzanas, que se pueden poner enteras gracias a la enorme boca que tiene, suelo cortarlas por la mitad. Lo que sale genial, lástima del trabajo que da pelarla, es el zumo de naranjas. El apio recomiendo cortarlo a pequeños trozos ya que la fibra puede embozar un poco la salida de pulpa (si se corta pequeñito no hay ese problema). La pulpa que sale puede volver a meterse y prensarse de nuevo, ya que se acaba obteniendo algo más de jugo. También compramos el filtro para smoothies y es muy recomendable si queréis preparar ese tipo de jugos o simplemente os gusta un licuado más espeso. El filtro para sorbetes todavía no lo he probado. La limpieza bueno...tiene algo de laboriosidad aunque no es para morirse. Es cogerle el truco a los cepillos que incorpora, y el cepillo para el filtro es glorioso. Por el resto, funciona perfectamente sin pérdidas de ningún tipo y ocupa menos de lo que parece.

Nach langem Lesen im Internet, entschied ich mich für diesen Entsafter. Wichtig war es mir, eine hohe Saftausbeute zu haben aber auch keine mühselige und aufwändige Putzarbeit danach. Ich habe jetzt schon viele Säfte gemacht, von Obst angefangen bis hin zu diversem Gemüse. Das drum zum Runterdrücken des Obst und Gemüses hab ich noch nie verwendet, das Gerät zieht alles selbständig ein. Allerdings hab ich auch noch nie einen ganzen Apfel reingesteckt. Ich schneide alles etwas kleiner und entferne vor allem das Gehäuse bzw. die Kerne. Den Saft siebe ich nur einmal ab, da minimalste Reste doch durchflutschen. Wir haben auch schon bei einer Party für alle Gäste Saft gepresst, war einfach nur lecker. Das Reinigen dauert 10 Minuten und das zusammenbauen keine 2 Minuten. Mir fehlt die Erfahrung zu anderen Entsaftern, kann daher nur sagen, dass meine Wünsche mit diesem Gerät erfüllt wurden. Einmal blieb eine etwas größere Karotte hängen. Hab ein Mal die Rücktaste betätigt und schon gings weiter. Aus 1 kg Karotten hab ich 900 ml Saft herausgeholt! Bei so hartem Gemüse bleiben im Saft mehr Rückstände zurück, als z.B. bei Zwiebeln, Knoblauch, Zitronen, Äpfel oder Paprika. Da ich aber alles ein Mal absiebe, bleibt sowieso nur der Saft übrig. Alles in Allem ein für mich tolles Gerät mit einem leckeren Saft, einem super trockenen Trester und schneller Reinigung.
