A bit patchy, it does briefly run over the different package managers, file systems and process and resource monitoring tools, along with the obvious file location differences, but doesn't provide any detail for the differences in parameters, or behaviour, of what are described as the universal commands e.g. echo, grep, mailx, route.

Of what I have studied of the book so far, it is a very good book to help you with working with Unix, Linus & BSD programming

Alles drinnen was man braucht. Gut erklärt. Für den Fachmann eigentlich unverzichtbar. Gutes Werk zum Nachschlagen. Bei mir findet dieses E-Book einen festen Platz auf dem Smartphone.
