It works perfectly. The panini sandwich is evenly toasted on both sides. One of the best things is that it’s small and lightweight, so you can use it anytime and store it easily on any shelf. It also matches the description on the Amazon page—exactly what I expected.

Well, I start saying me and my husband has to stay in hotels for work and I’ve been searching a portable panini to prepare his lunch. This one offers a good price and is easy to carry and use. Although it gets hot kinda fast, the green light takes a while to flash, but sometimes I put the sandwich in and take it out even when the light is still red and is grilled enough. As said in other reviews, it fits just one sandwich per time so don’t expect it to be big. But works just fine. The only con is that once I tried to take the sandwich out with a knife and it scratched the inner part so the coating got off even me being very careful. So I recommend just silicon tools since the coating doesn’t look the best. Still consider it a fair product for a fair price and met my needs.

This Angiotar sandwich maker works great. It heats up quickly, toasts evenly, and makes delicious sandwiches in just a few minutes. The non-stick plates are easy to clean, and the compact design is perfect for small kitchens. Very practical and worth the price.

It works, but I feel there are some (maybe minor) issues that could have been addressed...1) No on/off switch. The device it turned on by plugging in and turned off by unplugging.2) No auto-shutoff. If you have to leave to attend a crisis, the device will remain on.3) Misleading. The description on this page: "No oil or butter needed, makes for healthier eating." Yet the operating instructions with the sandwich maker says "Smear the cooking plate with butter, margarine, or cooking fat."4) Bread size. The photo shows two sandwiches (page description says "Make 2 sandwiches please choose the right size bread" and gives griddle surface size), but the pic is showing small bread slices. If you use 'standard' size bread you will have two squish them in for a very snug fit (the grill is about one inch short of fitting two standard size bread slices).5) Uneven heating. The heating cooks the side closer to the opening/handle slightly more than the rest (not a big deal but if you want a 'perfectly grilled' sandwich, you will need to turn the sandwich mid-cooking).The device is simple and easy to use, and it works well making a sandwich. I got it specifically to make a single grilled cheese sandwich at a time and it does that well enough.

This thing made perfect grilled cheese. I was shocked how well it worked and I will share how I did it.Get yourself some square Texas toast style bread. Cut off the crust. Use either spray butter or spread soft butter on the bread. A single Kraft American single, then put the top buttered slice on, close the lid. Use the light if you want but I just eyeballed it.I did have to flip the sandwich but at the end it came out perfectly golden brown and this was just my test sandwich when I first got it. With practice it will get even better.

What a great little product for toasted sandwiches, quick maybe 2- 3 minutes for a light toasted lunch…easy to clean, light weight, easy storage, great price….toasted cheese with slice of tomato, ham with cheese and lettuce, put in a fried egg with cheese…yum, so good on toasted bread…I may get rid of my toaster
