Where is this produced?

This product is certified by the Soil Association which have one of the highest standard of organic certification. Far higher than those required by EU and UK law. Most of the worlds spirulina is produced in China and there are a small number of producers there, who have the highest standards of quality control. We source our organic spirulina from the highest quality manufacturer we could find and stand by the fact this is some of the best spirulina you can buy anywhere. It is produced on a tropical Island in the South China, which is in a protected ecological area free from industrialisation or pollution.

The Chinese food association have found some of the spirulina commercialized in China is contaminated with heavy metals. How do we know this isn't?

how many spirulima in the pack,and how many a day do you take. ta 😁

In the pack is about 300 tabs and I take about 5-7 tabs per day depending the food you have. If you have green food salad etc you take less.

Is this product having broken cell wall spirulina? It does not say in the description.

You are confusing Spirulina with Chlorella "Chlorella is also traditionally more difficult to process than spirulina, due to the fact that it has an indigestible cellulose wall. Therefore, chlorella requires processing before it can be made available for human consumption. It first has to undergo a complex process in order to mechanically break the cellulose wall. If the cellulose wall isn't broken, then the body won't be able to digest it. This process is not only complex, but it requires expensive equipment to perform. Therefore, the cost of the product is ultimately significantly higher. In comparison, spirulina has a perfectly digestible cellulose wall, therefore it is readily available for consumption, and immediately digested and absorbed when taken."

Decent quality and price

Dark green and a flavour to match

These are dark green tablets with a flavour to match. It's too early to say if they have the desired effect on my metabolism etc. My main concern is the number of tablets I am instructed to take - 6 to 10 per day! That's on top of the other pills and tablets I must take, for medical reasons. When this pack is finished, I may try it in powder form. I could add it to a smoothy, perhaps, or stir it into miso soup. Having just said that, I could probably pulverise 6 - 10 tablets in a mortar, and use it in powder form that way. I haven't made up my mind yet.
