Ok this might seem a bit expensive for a piece of plastic, but it's probably one of the most useful things I've bought so far this year! If like me you have breadboarded projects involving an arduino or raspberry Pi, then you will know when it comes time to move it out the way, it's very easy to disrupt the wiring and even lose the odd connection in the process. This clever little base helps keep everything together and enables you to move your project as one. The base is supplied with a neat screwdriver and screws of different lengths to mount your Pi or Arduino to the base. There are metal threaded bushes in the plastic base for mounting which is a nice touch. The breadboard then attaches to the longer recess using double sided tape (usually supplied ready attached to most breadboards). Despite designed for the bigger Pi2/3, I successfully managed to mount my Pi Zero to it, albeit using just 2 screws. The attached photo shows an internet radio project I am working on.

this is a god send of development boards , as I don't use a pie I use the pie slot for a small bread board brilliant and easy to use keeps everything held tight and in one place.

Effective mount for Arduino mega 256 and associated breadboard

Good quality, solid base. Ideal if you're using the Arduino / Pi with a breadboard (or anything else) as it means that you can easily move the kit around from one one place to another without the risk of any of the wires coming out.There have been comments that it is expensive for a bit of plastic, however, it is designed for a specific purpose and does the job well. Well worth the money.

Good value, decent construction. My only gripe is that while it will fit an Arduino Due (basically the same form factor as a Mega), you need to file down a section or two of the baseplate if you want to plug a USB cable in while the board is in place.But since it doesn't mention anything about Due compatibility, I'll call it good value, and Due-compatible if you want to spend 5 minutes with a file.

The Breadboards are a must to have as it holds everything in place.Had to contact them on a query and there Customer Service was excellent. Would highly recommend this company

I purchased this for use with the Arduino and you have to mount it on the right hand side of the board, it would have worked better for me if you could mount it either side. That said I was able to mount a 4 set relay on the left hand side which does work well for me.

The mega fits well into the board. I did find one of the supplied screws didn't screw in properly. The arduino board hasnt got enough room for the screw head because of the headers near the USB port so i didnt used that screw anyway. The remaining 5 are enough to keep it in place.The board also doesnt fit the Proto board I have. I guess other sizes may fit. Thats my fault.
