SEIP SKR433-1 / SKRJ433 Mini/SKR 433 Replacement Remote Control Garage Gate Fob 433.92 MHz

We have two Seip SKR433-1 remotes, I thought it best to have a spare.Very easy to programme :All I did was hold down the button on the Seip remote that controls the garage door, while simultaneously holding down the one button on the new remote, while holding both remotes close together.I was surprised that it worked so easily! Posting this so others might find it and have an easy time!

Perfect. From opening the packet to getting it paired and working with my garage door opener took about 3 minutes.Instructions provided are clear and accurate, and the setup worked first time. Feels really solid and well put together - more so than the original remote.The only minor downsides are1. The slide cover is a little stiff (maybe it'll loosen with use)2. There are 4 buttons, but you can't program all of them to a single door opener. It would be nice to have all 4 buttons coded to a single opener, so you don't have to tell people which of the 4 buttons it is. But I'm being really picky!You won't be disappointed with this - great value.

Been using mine for a few months now and it works well, can’t fault it, nice quality and very neat. The thin chrome plate came unglued and dropped off after a couple of weeks but I just cleaned off the glue and left it off as it has no function and I quite like the all black look.

Initial bought just 1 of these to make sure it would work with my garage door. Pairing the fob to the garage door was straightforward using the guide provided. Knowing that 1 worked I bought another 2 to keep in our cars. Very satisfied with them

Worked well for two weeks then just stopped working

This really does work very well. As I formerly sold the type of radio that this item has inside it I could not imagine these working very well at the price. Pairing with the door was a doddle. Presto! worked first time.Having now used it for a few weeks I am pleased to say that if anything the range is slightly better than my original keyfobs. The 4 buttons make it a little more fiddly to open and close when you are fumbling for the fob in the dark and in traffic trying to get the door open but that is something you quickly get used to. The key lights when pressed which is a nice reaffirmation that you have indeed sent the signal.Way better than expected performance and quality and I now own 4 of them.

I was initially worried that there were no instructions on how to programme the new remote using the old one, but actually the instructions that came with the remote were so simple when I actually followed them that it literally took me less than 30 seconds to walk into the garage, take the cover off the garage door controller, press the 'learn' button for 3 seconds and press '1' on the remote. Cover back on and done! So easy I wish I'd bought extra controllers ages ago because we're always scared we'll lose our only one and the garage door control box had seemed so technical looking. In fact, the 'learn' button is super easy to find - who knew? At under £14 this has saved a fortune compared to the Seip ones. I've just ordered another one.

I bought this to replace my Seip Mini remote as I wasn't prepared to pay £50 for a replacement. This the job. It was easy to programme once I got my head around the instructions and its working very well indeed.A couple of points to mention:It's a weighty item, not heavy but you know it's on your keys.Size, it's small but not at diminutive as the original.I hope you find this information useful.
