I tested this chain against my Oregon brand "true" ripping chain. This chain seems well made however it has way too many cutting heads for a true ripping chain. The resulting cut, though fast, left a rough surface which would require extra wood removal in the final finishing process. You'd therefore have to cut a deeper slab. However, if you're in a hurry and don't like the slow, tedious process of ripping wood with a true ripping chain than this might be a good fit for you.

Strong chain, the plastic box that it comes in breaks every time I've ordered. And if you plan to use this for milling just use a normal chain way faster and more fuel efficient. Used it on the 36 inc bar that comes with the neo-tec 105cc clone saw.
