Thumb Grips

Ok. I've been waiting to review these! My problem was that my thumbs got really, really sore from playing on my Xbox. Specifically, the pads of the thumbs felt like they were bruised. I did a good amount of research trying to find a product that would help with this and most of the resources I found talked about adjusting hand positioning and stuff like that. The "posture" of the thumb never the issue. It was pushing down on the thumbsticks in first-person gaming where I'm regularly pushing "up" for extended periods. These little guys are life savers. They have a good amount of give (squish) so even when I mash down on a thumbstick, it doesn't mess my thumb up. All of my thumb pain is now gone and I can now game comfortably again. It took a week or so for my thumbs to heal. The pain wasn't immediately gone (the thumbs were still injured), but it felt much better than the injuries quickly healed. I'm using an Xbox Series X console with a factory controller. These caps fit just fine. I had absolutely no problem installing them and I've yet to experience them sliding off accidentally. These are the best thumbstick cushioning pads I've ever used in my entire life. I'm confident that someone who games competitively or is super serious would find something not to like about them. That said, my priority is comfort first, accuracy a distant second.

The comments are really complaining about installation but all you have to do is get one side of the grip on the analog stick and just continue to rotate the grip and slightly push down. If you google the brand and description of the cushion grip you’ll end up on their website where there’s three different videos on different ways to install the grips. The best method is the rotating. We tried for an hour to flip the lip upside down and it was not possible. However with the push and rotation method we got all four grips on the controllers with in minutes and it was super easy. The cushion grips feel amazing. It took a few rounds to get used to but it’s so much more comfortable!

Before I give my life story, these are a little difficult to put on, look at their instructions, but they stay on, they're grippy without being sticky, the squishiness is noticeable but not detrimental in any way. They work, and if you're thinking about something like this, then you probably wanna know they're good. I've been using them for a few days and they still feel good, I'll update if they wear out quickly. whooo boy, starting last year with Elden Ring I started getting a sore thumb on my left hand from holding forward to move in games, I tried searching for something exactly like this, but found things like kontrol freak stick caps, which I kinda like but they don't help cushion my thumb. I randomly found these the other day and ordered them immediately, they can seem a little weird at first but you'll forget they're there most of time, they feel really good I'm so happy.

I ordered this to save my fingers from soreness while playing Black Myth Wukong on PC with an Xbox elite 2 controller. The package arrived very quickly and had decent packaging for a small product. Installation is super simple, just twist them onto the knobs. I had no issues getting them on like others have stated. While it feels very nice and mushy my issue and subsequent rating is due to how easy they come off. Majority of people who play on controllers do not exert pressure from a vertical direction but rather at a slightly angled direction, causing these to come off at the most unfortunate moments. I ordered a second set of knobs (also on Amazon) for my Xbox elite 2 remote and glued/melted these onto the new knobs. This seems to work for now. I’d much rather have these already made attached to control knobs rather than slip on covers that tend to slip off. I would still recommend this to others for the good value

I dunno about you but the ps5's sticks really dig into the pad of my thumb. So I looked for something with actual cushion rather than just grip. Well, random internet person, these things are THICC. Nice and squishy and very comfortable. Only problem is they stick up so much, so again, if you're like me and you play heckdivers 2 when you need to put in a strat you move your right hand over to the D pad so you can keep moving while you tap. These things get in the way sometimes and can cause miss clicks but once you get used to them being there it's less of a problem.

The only credit I will give these grips is after you get them on--no, IF you get them on, they are comfortable. Both pairs of the grips came in different sizes and they require so much force to get them on the analog sticks that you'll likely decrease the life span of the analog sticks in the process. It felt like the grips were physically fighting against me. They also fit Xbox controllers 10x easier than PlayStation. They were clearly designed explicitly for Xbox. Another thing is that the directions to fit the grips is false advertising. You can NOT flip the silicone the way that it is shown, physics does not allow the material to work that way unless you have four pairs of hands.

These are great there like squishy pillows for your thumbs. The ones in the photo have been on there since I got them and have not fallen off. I play a lot of Top Down/Bullet Hell and FPS games so you know these took a beating. The trick is do not put your figures on bottom holes the oil from your fingers are getting on it simply falling off when use them. Wash your hands before handling and twist on like the video shows you. It work for me and still working. No issues I'm happy :)

My thumb on my left hand would hurt from playing FPS games. This was caused by continuously pressing forward on the thumb stick to run. I considered many different options to try to resolve this issue, but settles with this. After about a month of use, I am happy to say it is exactly what I needed. Before buying, I was concerned with the height it would make my thumbstick. It only took me a day to get use to. My thumb no longer hurts from playing. I couldn’t ask for anything more. It is so soft and has a nice air cushion feel. Would recommend to anyone experiencing the same issue I was having with my thumb.

Sooooo comfortable! Felt like I was gonna loose my thumb with some games that requires to press down the joystick every 2 seconds, but this thing is so comfortable and doesn't cause any issues at all. They can be a bit tricky to get on.
