My husband wanted to have his knifes more displayed and was talking about a magnetic strip. With very young grandchildren I hesitate to have them exposed like that, and personally I'm not a fan either of the look or safety. This purchase was the perfect solution and knifes look great in it. He has so many I might need to buy another and I would purchase it again if I do. Knifes stay secure and the wood is nice looking. I like that there is room for my two smaller cutting boards.

magnet is nice and strong and fits all my knives perfectly. shield keeps the knives from having anything staining them or accidentally cutting when reaching for one.

Pretty decent, especially considering I paid only around $20 for this (on sale). Finish is a little off in a couple of spots, but nothing I can't live with. Came a little dirty (gritty crud of some sort). Magnets seem strong enough. Cutting board holder seems like sort of a gimmick, but I'm trying it out with some thin bamboo cutting boards (my other cutting boards are elsewhere). There are tradeoffs with different styles of knife holders, and I needed something, so I figured I could risk $20 and give this one a try as it did meet minimum criteria. Not disappointed so far. Fits okay in the nook where I had some spare space. Will ultimately hold 6-8 knives.

Fairly heavy, so it doesn't tip over. Holds knives on both sides. However, I've already scratched the wood when placing a knife in between the acrylic cover and the wood block. But, small price to pay to keep knives safe and away from small kids. Serving the purpose for which I purchased it.

I really like that you can see all your knives , and they are very easy to insert and extract. Note: make sure your knives are DRY to avoid water stains or rust marks on the wood. The notch for holding a cutting board works very well. I actually get one cutting board and a thin bamboo cheese board Nice, compact countertop organization. There really is no assembly required.

This was the perfect solution for my newly renovated kitchen with a narrow pullout cabinet. I did not need the space for spices so I purchased this to store my knives and cutting boards. This product is well made and allows me to store my knives safely and out of the way. The magnet holds my knives securely yet allows me to pull them out easily when needed. Very happy with this purchase.

I always liked the idea of a magnetic knife block but I was worried that someone would accidentally get cut or that my cats would sneak up on the counter and try to rub up against it and hurt themselves. This is the perfect solution. The plexiglass protects you and your knives perfectly and it is beautiful on too of everything else. This is a must have item. Pictured are the front and back. I don't use the cutting board holder for a boars but I keep my sharpener in there.

We have a small kitchen and quite a few chef's knives. I bought this to sort our knives without taking up a ton of counterspace. It is aesthetically pleasing and holds quite a few knives. As an added bonus we can put out cutting boards into the back lip. Bonus storage in a small space!
