Bird tape
This REALLY WORKS!!!! We have a pergola, swing set, trampoline and back deck that was used by birds constantly last year! This year I set out to find a solution so I didn't have to go Clorox wipe all the things before kids or us could use them! This was so easy to tie and staple to the tops and we have not had any birds perching! It's not sticky , it's just an irridescent type ribbon. It does fly off in the wind so it needs to be attached good and also picked up before it flies to the neighbors yards or gets run over by the lawn mower. Very worth the money. It comes with two rolls, I gave the second roll to my parents for their garden fence posts. Highly recommend.

Worked very well to scare away swallows from building the nests on my front and back porches
We get swallows every year who want to build their nests near the top of my front and back porch roofs on the far brick wall. I had put up some Bird-X netting under the front porch and over the front door that worked for several years but my wife got tired of looking at the netting and the spider webs that were built on the netting. So I got this tape and two sets of Metal Bird Scare Discs Shiny Wind Spinners (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D1VJK6V1). I cut several 18 inch pieces of the tape, folded over 1.25 inches of one end and wrapped the folded end with some heavy duty shipping tape, used a one-hole punch to make a hole about 1/2 inch from the fold, taped a penny using more shipping tape to add some weight to the ribbon. I then drilled several small holes spaced about 9 inches apart near the end of the porch roof where the swallows want to nest and screwed a brass cup hook in each hole. Starting from the porch brick wall I put up two ribbons, an assembled Metal Bird Scare disk, one more ribbon (I really wanted to add two ribbons and another assembled Metal Bird Scare disk but ran out of time and energy, will probably add next year). Worked like a charm. The area almost always has some breeze causing all ribbons and Bird Scare Disks to flutter and made the area not a nice place to build a nest. Swallows flew in, noticed all the moving stuff and flew right back out. Did the the same on the back porch near the brick wall where swallows tried to build a nest last year but I managed to discourage their nest building with some difficulty. This year the ribbons and disks worked on the back porch as good as they did on the front porch. No swallow nests=No droppings on the concrete below. I did build three swallow nesting boxes using plans I got online from the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and mounted two but neither has ever been used since they were installed four or five years ago.

What it says it is, but no effect on birds.
It is what it says it is...but don't think it had much effect on the birds. My trees look like they're decorated with Christmas icicles, but I still have those darned grackles. I wish I could figure out how to get these higher up into the trees. I tie a piece of yarn to the middle of a strip of this, then a rock on one end of the yarn and a stick on the other end and throw the whole thing as high into the tree as possible. The rock gives it momentum and the stick helps it catch on the branches. Trouble is, I can't throw but about 25' up and the tree is probablyy 50-60' where the grackles roost in the top.

Pretty tape that keeps birds away
This tape works great! I'd bought a couple of outdoor chairs, an outdoor rug, and a little table, which I put in our backyard under the trees (for shade). The birds were pooping on the chairs, though, but this tape keeps them away. I also have some other shiny things hanging from the trees that help.

Effective treatment
I was skeptical at first but hung strips over the door area where where pidgeons had been roosting and pooping, all over the doormat in front of my unit.Days later, no pidgeons and no more poop. Weeks later, no return to my doorway. It worked!

Very effective!
This stuff works! My Elderberries are ripening this year! This product is not a 100 % effective, but I don't expect that! Last year was ridiculous as the birds were hanging upside down to get every berry. This year they seem to look, pick a few and leave most of it untouched. Success! What my picture doesn't show is the constant movement of the streamers, and they blink in the sunshine!

Ok buy
Fairly effective. I watched Birds come through my garden sometimes but most days they would stay away. However I did use quite a bit of the material. It could have helped with keeping birds away.

Keeps Birds Off My Porch Railing!
I used this bird scare ribbon on top of my porch railing, and it works great! Birds used to constantly sit there and leave a mess, but since putting the ribbon up, they’ve completely stopped landing. It’s easy to cut and tie, and the shiny material really does the trick. Affordable, simple, and effective—highly recommend if you’re trying to keep birds from perching and pooping in unwanted areas!
