I had a hard time buying this because of the price. Once I got over that I took the plunge. I have to say this is an excellent appliance. A previous reviewer mentioned that the toast seems to taste better for some reason. Now I know we are only talking about toast, but I have to agree. It toasts perfectly. And it looks great on our counter. That was the real reason I originally purchased it as we have a breakfast bar, and this stays out on the counter. I am over the cost now and very happy with the purchase.

I bought it because I already have one and wanted the same toaster for our vacation home. I know....expensive toaster for a vacation home! But it has four slots, wide slots, keep warm, frozen feature, etc. I didn't pay for the first one because it came as a points promotion with buying thousands of dollars in Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances for my kitchen re-do. I love the fact that the sides don't get hot so my grandchildren can use the toaster without getting burned if they touch the sides. It works well and looks great so I spent the money. Great toaster.

Finally a toaster that really toasts. I bought so-called other high-in toasters, but they fall short. (Uneven toast.). Wolf products are worth the money! You have to beware of the type of bread though, each will need a different setting to get the perfect toast. Write down or try to remember what you're toasting to get consistent results.

This Wolf toaster is not fooling around. It came to toast and you better not get in its way. Lesser toasters bow down before it. It's built like a tank and it's ginormous. The self-centering slots accomodate anything from sad, skinny diet-sliced bread to thick-cut slabs of artisan whole wheat. There's a button for bagels that toasts the cut side but just warms the outside. Well, actually two buttons, because (on the four-slot model) you can do a bagel on one side and regular toast on the other side at the same time. Each side also has a Frozen button to adjust for items right out of the freezer. Each side gets its own crumb tray and darkness/doneness setting knob as well. When you register it with Wolf they send you an extra set of the knobs and there's 3 colors of knobs to choose from. Yeah, it costs a small fortune. But it comes with a 5-year warranty AND it solves all the world's toast-related problems.

Easy to use, stylish, great options for toasting. It was certainly an investment but we are very pleased with the purchase.

Bought a Wolf toaster to match the appliances in our kitchen. Looks beautiful and classic Wolf red knobs. Does toast very well and no complaints about that portion but I noticed yesterday that when I tried to cancel the toasting cycle, it did not work. I didn't think anything more about it until tonight when I went to press the top buttons for the bagel or 1 slice options and again, the buttons did not work. I had seen on another site that when a smart toaster is plugged into a GFI protected circuit (for which all my kitchen plugs are around the countertop), it may not work properly. I plugged it into another plug and still not working. I am sad because it toasted very well but the cancel button and other features need to work. Will be returning this to Amazon.

As someone that has bought a new toaster about twice a year for the last 4-5 years. I’ve been looking at this outrageously expensive toaster for years. Last week I decided it’s time. I can not express in words how well it toasts. It’s perfect toast every time. Bagel, perfect. Bread, perfect. Other than the cost my only gripe is that it’s made in China but the quality is there. Treat yourself you deserve It.

We have been using our new toaster for a week now and are very happy with it. It looks awesome sitting on our counter, love the style of it and the toast comes out perfect.

I am very disappointed in this top-of-the line product. Very expensive and does not work well. As you can determine from the first picture, one side does not light up (burner does not work) and your toast and or bagel only gets toasted on one side. I will return this piece of junk right away, and order a better quality one that will not doubt be less expensive. It is now 2 weeks since I purchased this item and I decided to keep it for another week to see if it works better. It still seems that some of the hot wires are not working in some areas... but perhaps that is what they call "new bagel technology" that only toasts the inside of the bagel and keep the outside warm only.... but I'll keep on closely looking at it...

I do not mind giving reviews but I have not have this toaster long enough to even know if I like it
