Fantastic boots, as good as I remember them
I am someone who has been regularly turning my ankle over since a fall back in November 2016. Since then I've got various casts and wobble boards to help strengthen the ankle, but in shoes there is always the susceptibility to another turn. because of this I decided I needed more boots that cover the ankle as walking is one of the pastimes I really enjoy and use to supplement other exercises. As part of this I decided my 24 year old 10 eye DMs were in need of another pair to share some load and so i bought these. Some of the reviews seemed to indicate the quality was lower these days as they aren't all made in england. Lots of stuff isn't made in England nowadays and is fine. These boots fall into that category. The leather was gorgeous on arrival, and the colour was as I remember and very obviously new as it bore no cracks or scuffs. The boots themselves gave me an immediate nostalgia shot back to the 70s and 80s when I was never without a pair for those less formal occasions like football or general nights out. I have been wearing these indoors and outdoors since arrival and they are stiff enough to need breaking in, but these days I find that quite reassuring...much like an album that requires several listens to get into, but then remains with you for life. The fit is so good that even the breaking in process has been no more than a bit uncomfortable around the upper ankle and instep areas, but as each day goes by that lessens and the sheer warmth and comfort grows every step. as I say, I love my walking and have my Karrimor boots for beaches, bridlepaths and rougher terrain, but for cities of cobbles (Prague/Rome etc) and pavements such as an upcoming visit to York, then I think these will be perfect for the comfort the bouncing airwair soles provide. A great product, that looks great and a very good price on Amazon.

Reliable boots
As long as you take the time to break a pair of DM’s in you will be so comfortable for years to come. Excellent thick soles, great style and whilst they are expensive, they are well worth the money because you can wear them for years. This is the 4th pair of DM’s I’ve bought, I totally love them.

What a boot.
Item arrived on time, first of all. As soon as I opened the parcel, and the shoe box, I realized I was in front of the best boots I ever bought in my life. Tried them before buying in a couple of shops, and unfortunately looked like I was in the middle between sizes 7 and 8. Size 7 very short and painful for my feet, size 8 way toooo large. I decided to risk and go for a 7 then... and I was totally right. Leather is of a really good quality, and took not more than 4 days to break in the boots. It expands up to a few mm, and gives you just some standable pain at first. One blister only, on my right heel, and that's all: now they're the most comfortable shoes I ever got. I use them to go to work, have walks around, sometimes I dance also... they're just perfect and comfy, keeping feet warm and dry. I got the boots in brown colour, and I might buy black as well soon. Would totally recommend them to anybody: they fit and look GREAT.

Great boots but break them in!
These are unisex so the sizes always seem a little large for my size 6 feet. Nothing a good thick pair of boot socks and good lacing won't fix. A few reviews I read said the leather was quite soft but I find it quite stiff and on the first wear they cut into the back of my heel, even through thick socks. I'd highly recommend breaking these in a good bit before doing any serious walking in them. They are very sturdy though, have the classic Dr Marten soles and certainly repelled water on the first wear. You can feel the wax on them and I imagine this will need topping up from time to time to keep the water out.

Very durable, great price, iconic boot.
I bought these as a gift for my boyfriend and needless to say they are a very good durable product from Dr Martens. So far he's worn them to multiple festivals and although they take a while to break in and have caused a few blisters they've cleaned up very well every time. Being wipe clean leather they're very easy to clean and get the mud off, they laces take a bit more work but that is to be expected. They also kept his feet very warm and dry and have a good grip on the bottom in muddy and icy weather. I personally love the colour of them, they stand out a bit more than the black ones but they're not too garish or in your face and they still go with a load of different outfits. That, the low price and them being an easily recognised iconic boot made them a great purchase. Would recommend some thick or comfy socks before they're worn in because apparently they can be quite uncomfortable at first because of the stiff leather.

Simply, perfect
These classic and iconic boots really live up to their name. Despite being new and the material obviously quite stiff, they are still quite comfortable to wear and are very rugged and durable. They also tend to go well with whatever I am wearing which tends to be fairly dark clothing with grey or black skinny jeans, but suite my look well nonetheless. More to the point the price of these are amazing for the fact that you are getting original and authentic Doc's. In most shoe shops, the price of the classic coloured Doc's never drop below £100 even during sales, so to get a pair for less than £80, I was ecstatic. I am still wearing them in but thoroughly enjoying them. And I recommend getting one size up from what you normally wear so that you have enough room in them for your feet to breath. I usually wear 9-9.5, so got a size 10 and fit perfectly. The seller was very quick to dispatch and they arrived in good time and undamaged. Much recommended.

Love them
Really nice vintage style boots at a great price. I would definitely size down if you're between sizes - I'm a 5.5 and usually go for a 6, but the 5 were a much better fit.

Really soft leather that doesn’t need braking in. However the soles are really heavy and you feel that when walking. I wouldn’t recommend to younger kids as they’re a work out to walk in but very comfortable and stylish.

I Got a really good price on these boots I'm really not a brown kind of guy but I got these on the try then buy. As soon as I took them out of the box I was, wow these are some nice looking boots they are a reddish brown nice and soft and made to speck and they have the waffle souls a plus because they last longer than the original Dr. Martens sole and there not as slick and believe me the last thing you want is a pair of Doc's with slick soles in the winter. I've slid down hills before in a well worn pair of Docs. When I say there made to speck, I mean it. Goodyear welts sewn to perfection and they look right, and feel right. Now a day's you have to spend an extra 100 dollars to get Dr. Martens from England they are made in many different country's. The best Dr. Martens made out there that aren't made in England in my opinion are the Dr. Martens that are made in Veit Nam. I've had Doc's that were made in China, Phillipines, and Malaysia. The Vietnamese take a great pride in there work and produce a superior product. And these boots are from Veit Nam. Dr. Martens don't come in half sizes also, pay attention to the sizing it my be in US or UK sizes. The Uk boots are one step down from US, so if you wear size 10 in US, you wear a size 9 UK if you wear a half size like say, a 10 and 1/2 try out the US 11 they may fit fine that's what I did and they fit great.

Prodotto di grande qualità, la prima settimana bisogna fare attenzione alla rigidità, poi sono una seconda pelle. Il top come sempre.
