Clever item for making patches with desired fabrics. Works well!
This is a handy item. It allows one to make patches for sewing & mending out of any fabric. It irons on 1 side, peel off the paper, and then iron onto the desired location. I wish I could have bought a small roll, but I needed this for a sewing job and I will undoubtedly use it for many more. So far it works very well. The thickness & weight are about right, allowing for easy handling & adequate sticking. Durability is really related to the outer fabric used for the patch. I like this because it offers me many more choices for making high quality patches for mending. I'm happy with this; it has worked well for me!

Exceptional value, quality, and ease of use
I have a small leather business and got a order for large batch of branded hunting hats. This was my first time trying heat activated adhesive and wasn't sure what product to try. After some research I found this heavy duty adhesive as a value option but was skeptical on how it would hold up when attaching leather patches to the hats. To be safe I also purchased a highly recommended but much more expensive heat activated adhesive brand from that sellers site. It was over 3 times the price for only 5 yards. The shipping was also twice as long for expedited processing. I received this Plantional product in less than 48 hours along with a new hat heat press. I will admit that I had to watch several videos on youtube on similar products to feel good about best ways to use. It would be great if this product added more instruction or even a short video tutorial but YouTube typically comes through in these occasions. ( Process disclaimer and my own personal choice. I am not recommending are promoting this step) I used my laser cutter on a very low power setting to cut out the shapes of adhesive in bulk in order to match my patch shapes. I used a standard iron on medium high heat with no steam to affix the one side to my patches and after cooling used the press ti affix the patches to the hats. I must say this product worked perfectly. This process was very easy and saved me a ton of time. I was able to complete a 75 hat order in only a few hours. In the past I would have sewn on the patches and taken much longer to complete. In the future I will apply the adhesive with my flat heat press to the leather prior to cutting out the patches with my laser cutter. This will save the extra step. I will admit I have not tested the other more expensive adhesive. I fill confident it will perform exceptionally. I am just not sure it is worth the difference in cost. Ultimately I think for the value, quality, and ease of use, I would definitely recommend this product. The heavy duty version of this adhesive worked exceptionally.

Stick, Peel, Press, Perfection: My Go-To Fusible for Applique!
As a quilter who regularly works with applique techniques, I’ve tried a variety of fusible adhesives over the years, and the Plantional Double-Sided Permanent Fusible Adhesive has quickly become a favorite in my sewing room. It delivers both ease of use and a reliable, lasting bond that enhances the quality and durability of my projects. One of the first things I appreciated was how intuitive it is to use. The "sticky" side has a distinct texture, making it easy to identify and position face-down on the first piece of fabric. Once ironed, the paper backing peels away effortlessly, allowing the second fabric piece to be applied with precision. There are two effective methods I’ve used with this adhesive. The first involves applying it to the fabric before cutting, which allows for drawing and cutting out your reverse applique template directly on the paper side—great for intricate shapes. The second method is placing the adhesive first on the applique fabric, cutting out your shape, and then ironing it onto your background fabric. I only use this method if the glue side is not exposed to the iron. Both approaches yield a strong, clean hold and minimize edge fraying, which is especially important for maintaining a polished, long-lasting finish. What truly sets this adhesive apart is its balance of strength and flexibility. It bonds securely without making the fabric overly stiff, preserving the soft, textured feel that quilters love. Whether you're working on delicate details or larger applique designs, Plantional’s fusible adhesive offers dependable performance every time. Highly recommended for quilters and crafters seeking a permanent, easy-to-use fusible option that supports precision, reduces fraying, and enhances the overall quality of applique work.

Works very well
Works very well and better than other brands. You don’t need to get it thicker. The thinnest one is thick enough, it’s almost like glue.

High gloss paper ... Tracing difficult
This is a nice product very light equivalent to feather weight heat and bond. HOWEVER... The backing is not a matte paper bag. It is a high gloss. Pen does not work on it, a sharpie will not work on it. Pencil will however you have to go over it a few times. If you are going to use this for applique, you cannot write easily what your pieces are on it. You can go over the shapes a few times but writing on it is difficult. Again the weight of it it's nice but buyer beware the paper backing is a very high gloss!
